Jazz Font does seem to work in LPX though I haven't tested it exhastively. I have just received the latest version from Sigler and the Coda Glyph is still incorrect and shows as below.

Good idea kc but in order to use the Sonata coda you have to use that font for the whole score - to my knowledge you can't just extract the coda sign and use it. On the other hand I may be able to use the Inkpen coda if it is insertable as text in the meantime. If Logic allowed the creation of custom signs or the insertion of png files then there would be an easy work-around.
I do use the Inkpen fermata because it is insertable as text and you can place it anywhere. If there is an anticipation to a held note then the jazz font places the fermata over the anticipation.

(01) You cannot save audio files / media files received from mms and you cannot store audio files received through any messenger such as Whatsapp or line !!!!
(02) if you want to forward a mail, You cannot edit email text received in the orginal mail and it will compulsorily go as part of your mail either in forward or in reply.

(08) Whats app doesn't work propoerly on Lumia...when you start Whatsapp it comes out of it within 1 minute or two max 5 minute. (09) During night time when you phone battery is about to drain to zero, and you want to switch off the phone and go to sleep alongwith keeping your phone to charge, you cannot do that....as you put the phone to chraging....it automatically starts on and agina with the friends and business all overseas or who are awake keep on sending the messages in grp or emails etc disturbs your sleep.
(10) broadcast in lumia is so poor you cannot add more peopel to existing braod cast. first of all to create a broadcast grp is also so difficult that you forget to use broadcast in whatsapp on lumia phone.
(11) In whatsapp the name of sender appears after the message....you dont know who have send you the message until you read tha completely.
(12) No settings facility or no options available for different type of notification of group or individula or broad cats in whats app.
(13) No privacy setting option available for whats app on lumia phone.
(14) You cannot store any audio files recived via whatsapp on phone. Media Autodownload is not optional but compulsory on phone.
(15) Windows phone....i understand that windows phone means tha t you can enter any damn app or thing from one app to other but its not like that in lumia windows phone. Like if you start drive here and your location options is turned off, you need to come out of drive here go to setting than go to location and start on the location. you cannot do that from that particular app... All app in lumia dont have feature of option.
(16) In email you cannot select all mails at a time. you need to select one mail everytime.
(17) you cannot view sms in folders option its compusory threaded way.
(18) You dont have option to view log differently like incomeing only, or outgoing only or missed call only or sms only. it will be one by one only. you cannot view in threaded form.
(19) Though you turn off show message in notification you whats app message will still be displayed on the top of the screeen when received.
(20) You cannot save the Group icon picture of whats app on your mobile.
(21) Calendar feature is also not good. You cannot import the date of birthday or anniversary from your contacts to your calender....

(25) if you have saved more than one numer under diofferent head of particular person and if you receive any message from that person you cannot make out from which number did he send us the sms from. for example. I have save 3 numers for Mr/ A, mobile - 123, mobile 2 -456, mobile 3 - 789, now when he send me any message from mobile 2 and i try to go to that sms and try to call the number fromw hich i have received sms, i cannot do that the entire contact is opened and i need to select which number i need to dial, i cannot make out from which number he had send me sms from.
(26) You cannot use sd card for anything except to store videos and pictures ...all other apps or anything is tored only on phone not on sd card than why do u need sd card.
so many other problems... to share....these nokia and windows people claim to give us the best phone in the world..... how ?????

I do not use whatsapp and am not interested in what it does or not. It's up to you to report bugs to the developer. And when I check it's actually problems 8,10,11,12,13,14,19,20,21,22,23 and 24 related to Whatsapp. That's 12 out 25 of your "problems" related to a third-party app.
Phone switching on when charging is not a problem or a bug - that is the way charging works today - on WP8, Android and iOS so you'll have to live with it regardless of what phone you have.
Your issue 25 is not an issue - you just don't know how to do it. When you open the received text message at the bottom there is an icon with two arrows, one pointing left, the other pointing right. Tap on that icon and the number from which the message was sent will be highlighted.
Issue 21 - all contacts for which I have included a birthday are showing in my calendar. Don't know what you are doing wrong.
I could go on, but I have to do a bit of work as well.

Strange thing with set update calc

Hello, i see a strange behavior with intelligent calculation, In my outline i have the time dimension like this, Year Qtr1 Jan Feb Mar Qtr2 Qtr3 Qtr4 When I run a calc script: SET UPDATE CALC OFF; SET CACHE HIGH; SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH; fix("member") calc dim(D1,D2,D3,D4,..); endfix; I see values of quarters are tripled and further the values of year is quadrupled (a total of 12 times). When removed SET UPDATECALC OFF; it works fine Do someone has any insight into this Thanks Rama 

The calc engine doesn't evaluate a time rollup outside of the time dimension... Each dimension has it's own rules for aggregation, and they are evaluated one dimension at a time. So, once you have your quarter total for say, "New York City", it will be added to all the other cities in "NY State" to get the state total. This "NY State" quarter total for product "x" will then be added to all the other "NY State" quarter totals for any other products to get the product rollups, etc... Of course, this is based on a Time, Location, Product sequence. Another way to look at this, is that only when the Time dimension is being aggregated will the rollup for "Jan", "Feb", and "Mar" be used to calculate "Qtr 1". If you need a concrete analogy, examine the way row totals and column totals are used in excel to obtain a grand total, you could do the sequence in either way (assuming a simple sum). Where intelligent calc fits in: now assume with your row and column totals that only one cell is modified... You need to recalc the row total, the column total, and the grand total. The row and column totals are direct dependents (formula wise), while the grand total is directly dependent on the recalculated row/column totals. This progression continues until all known dependent roll-ups/formulas have been evaluated. HTH

Problems when scrubbing through timeline with live update on

Hey guys! I have a problem. Sometimes when I scrub through my timeline in AE with live update on and I try to get to a frame that hasn't been rendered yet, AE freaks out. On my windows taskbar, multiple instances of AE seem to populate the taskbar (although none of them are selectable) and the screen flashes in between my desktop BG and AE. Any thoughts? thanks!

Check the Event Viewer for the exact cause of the crashes. sounds like the same old driver crashes, which could be your graphics card or another component on your system like audio devices. Also verify your device manager for any devices that may be flagged and repair their drivers. This can go down to trivial things like your SATA controlelr driver or the temperature monitoring of the chip sending wrong signals when it supposedly gets too hot...

When i try to update my itunes to 10.6 or whichever it is. why does it say that it has encountered problems before i can even start the update. it just says i have to try to install again but it does the same thing so i cant download the new itunes

Motherboard G50 112NR problem: HP refused warranty even with purchase proof provided.

The laptop G50 112NR was purchased last year in November. It stopped powering on. So i submitted it in HP Service center. The warranty was just due to expire on the next day. The service center called up after a week and informed that there is a problem with the motherboard. And they do have have resources to rectify the problem . So i was asked to take it to another HP Service center. By then, obviously, warranty had expired. So the other service center marked it out of warranty. And after diagnosis stated that motherboard as well as DVD drive was facing problem. And asked for lumsome amount of Rs. 23,643.
Now i would like to mention that the DVD Drive was functioning properly till the time i submitted it. I dont know how they came up with that.
Also, since i had submitted the laptop at the 1st srvice center before warranty expired, it should have been covered by HP. Since all the service center are HP authorized. And if i had reported the problem to one. Means it should have been logged on that date itself.
Also, a motherboard problem means , a weak component, a faulty device!!!!! This can never be a problem due to mis handling etc.
So why was i refused service?
When i asked to speak to the manager, i was told that mail has been sent to HP and it is upto them to accept or reject.
I had earlier called up toll-free customer care also. And spoke about this problem. I was assured that the expenses will be covered. ... Now when i mentioned this to the service center. , all they said was, thosand people sit there and anybody can say whatever they want to. We have already corresponded and you have been rejected warranty.
Will someone from HP management get in touch regarding this. And someone authentic please. I am sickened by getting all kind of verbal reassuranses from customer care and service center but nothing definite is coming up.

LolliFLOP sucks even with the update

i have had my phone since December of last year so its only a few months old. and lolliflop killed it. actually its been crappy since about day 3. my phone is always over heating showing the "cooling down mode" icon. and the battery never lasts. even when its been given a full charge. with hardly any use. even when the new update to the lolliFlop update came out. I called Verizon Wireless Customer Support last week and was pushed to tier 2 help and we downloaded the fix to lolliFlop and i am still having the same issues. i know its a hardware issue and not software. i have a family member who has the exact same phone since it came out and has never had a problem. even when i did the hard reset and deleted apps and everything to start over my phone is still having the same issue. if it wasn't past my 14 days on this phone i would have switched to the droid turbo since i know someone with that phone who has never had that problem. please help me fix this...my phone has been off the charger for less than an hour and with minimal use it the battery has gone from 100 percent to 85 percent. how is this happening? no apps are open.

Still having major importing difficulties - even with new update to 6.0.3

I am at the point of despair. I had SO hoped that the new windows updates and iTunes 6.0.3 would solve my ongoing problems with updating but it doesn't.
After a varying length of time while importing (second or two or during 2nd or third track) iTunes freezes and won't respond even to Ctrl Alt Del and computer needs a restart. Happens with any CD in either drive. Tried installing with and without Norton running and it still crashes.
I can buy music on line fine and sync this to iPod just can't import it from CDs.
The only thing different this time is that I get error (-50) when trying to import from the F drive rather than just immediate crash.
Diagnostics are here again for info. Thanks in anticipation

Nikon D90 RAW format not recognised even with latest updates

Hello,
I just tried to import RAW pictures from my new D90 on my Mac (recently installed Leopard, with latest combo update + Aperture update) but it doesn't recognise the format. I can see thumbnails, and JPEG pictures are working fine.
I also tried to manually install the update where D90 RAW support was added (nov 08), but it tells me there is no need to install it since I have a "newer version".
What can I do ?
Do I need to reinstall Leopard and update everything one at a time without combos ?

I figured out what the problem was !
I have a standalone edition of Leopard, and no iLife installed. I installed the iLife from another Mac and it magically worked !
It would have been nice to know that before, though.

How can I stop Mozilla and some extensions from opening new tabs every time I open firefox, even with no updates?

I'm using Firefox 9.0.1 on a Windows 7 laptop. Since upgrading to 9.0 and then 9.0.1 Mozilla and Speed Dial open new tabs as if they've been updated, even though there has been no update. Colorful tabs 8.0 did it as well, but I disabled it.

Do you have BitDefender (2010 e.g.) with its toolbar? If yes, remove it because the BD toolbar is known to be buggy and cause this issue (add-on compatibility check at each Firefox start).
And report here the BD toolbar version you have.

Upload to Flickr doesn't work anymore (even with latest update)

iPhoto-upload to Flickr does work anymore. Even a single jpg takes ages and the result it a pretty much destroyed picture @flickr.

Yes, it is iPhoto 9.3.2 … and now on OS X 10.8.
I now get mostly timeouts, but here is a screenshot of a pic that made it up to flickr (all sizes look same).
BTW: Using the Flickr Upload on Safari works fast and all well.

My hp deskjet f4180 device driver failed to install to my windows 7 computer even with the updates.

Have you downloaded the Windows 7 drivers from HP here? If this is the driver you are using please give some additional details of the error messages you are seeing.

Rotated photos problem on Lumia 930, 1520 with Denim update

There is an issue with photos taken on Lumia 930, 1520 with Denim update: camera uses EXIF rotation property instead of properly rotating the picture. As a result, apps which don't properly support EXIF.Rotation show photos rotated.
To reproduce, take the photo in vertical orientation on Lumia 930 with Denim update. Open Instagram official app (as an example), try adding new photo ->> you'll see that the photo is 90 degrees rotated.
Now question: is it a feature or is it a bug?
And if it is a feature, where is it documented?

Well, I am a developer writing my own app. And what I see is a sudden change in phone camera behavior, which affects and annoys lots and lots of users of my app (VK for WP), Telegram messenger app, and Instagram app, which I used as an example, because
it is well known.
It does seem like a feature to me now, so would't it make sense to have some native support for it? For example, make BitmapImage pay attention to EXIF and correctly rotate?
And again: is this change documented anywhere?
And please, bring my question where it was originally posted.

HELP!!! Strange Error with Batch Update

While trying to do a batch update with the following preparedstatment:

Notice the parameter in the subquery. This works fine for a single executeUpdate. But if i do two preparedstatement.addbatch calls and then executeBatch I see a unique constraint violation on (DATETIME,CALC_ID, and SITE_ID) CALC_ID is the only key that varies in my batch. It is as if the subquery is not being resolved and written literally to the field. If I try the 1st update by itself in add batch it works. If I try the second it works by itself. If I try them together in the batch it fails. The unique constraint is not violated when I execute them singly.
Any Ideas?

I've found that db2, PreparedStatements and batch updating do not work very well together. I've had to use dynmanic sql and build the update statement myself. Actually I wrote a query parser that builds the statement so I can pass it like a PreparedStatement.
I'm not sure if your in db2 ver 7 but if so make sure your using fixpack 9. at lot of bad prepared statement behavior.
