HT201071 When will support camera Fujifilm X-E2?

Fujifilm X-E2 is a popular and high-quality camera.
It is unfortunate that there is still no support for its RAW format files in a software products of reputable company (Apple).

You can send your comments or suggestions directly to Apple via Mac OS X Feedback.
You are unlikely to get a direct response from your "Fedback", but you can be certain that the responsible Apple people will see your input for consideration in future product development.

When will the Camera plug-in be updated for the Canon 70D for Elements 9

    Hi,
There hasn't been an update for PSE 9 since Sept 2011 so it is unlikely to ever be updated for the 70D.
    Your options are
    1) Upgrade PSE 12 when it comes out (probably soon)
    2) Use the Canon software (DPP) that came with your camera - convert to TIF files and import those into PSE
    3) Download/Install the free Adobe DNG 8.2RC Converter to convert your CR2 files to DNG files - the DNG files can then be processed by PSE 9

When will Apple support the new Olympus E-M10? Frustrating that the last Camera RAW update did not include it.

When will Olympus provide the data to Apple? That could be the question.

The Sony DSC RX10 has been available for many months now. When will RAW support for Aperture be available?

I  don't mean this to be a smart type answer, but you can try asking Sony. When Sony provides the information to Apple, Apple will release it.

  • When will a camera raw plugin beavailable for the Nikon D810

I recently purchased a Nikon D810 but can not see the images when I download them to either Lightroom or Photoshop.  I am told I need a new plug-in. When will onebe available?

    Check out this:
Re: Lightroom 5 and Nikon D810
There is a solution. Just install camera raw 8.6 to get support in Photoshop. Use dng converter 8.6 to convert the nef files to dng and import those in Lightroom if you want to use Lightroom to edit the raw files. It doesn't support the small "raw" files that the D810 generates but those are a complete and utter joke anyway and nobody should be using those, not even to save space.
    >Update: I've just counted: there are 22 separate threads started in the last week asking why LR doesn't support the D810 and when will it be updated!
That must be a record. I don't think I have ever seen it as bad as with this camera. It must be incredibly popular or perhaps the change in the forum software is making it hard for people to peer down a few lines to see what has been posted already (I am being generous ;-) )

  • When will a Camera Raw new version become available  for CS5 and Nikon D800 images ??  Any clues?

I understand that I have presently  an option to download the Beta version ACR 6.7  and it expires by May 31st.
Does this mean that a new ACR version will become available for regular automatic update on or before that date?
I just want to know when will I be able to enjoy processing  the images from the new Nikon D800   I hace CS5

I would expect Adobe to support the current version of LR with the current version of PS as usual.
Last time it was the opposite, but this time, LR4 with PV2012 came out, first, when CS5/ACR6.x was the current version so I would expect Adobe to release a final CS5-compatible ACR that knows how to render, but not adjust PV2012 recipes from LR4.  This is what ACR 6.7RC attempts to do but with some luminance differences with certain PV2012 toning sliders near their extremes.    Adobe rushed things a bit, this time, due to the D800 and 5D.3 cameras coming out about the same time and wanting to make big spenders happy sooner rather than later, so I expect they are taking extra time to get things right in the released versions of ACR 6.7, ACR 7 and LR 4.1.  With CS6 also coming out, and the economy still on the rocks in many areas of the world and country, resources are stretched thing, but I expect all will resolve in time.

  • Arch installation image::when will support for F2FS be added

I'm just curious about when the installation medium will support F2FS.  I know from an installation that functionality can be installed, but my situation makes that problematic.

Just to help even more than the above post which is really helpful.
Quick HOW-TO install arch on f2fs filesystem with latest April.1 official live media.
Install f2fs-tools from aur, format root partition, format boot partition, modprobe f2fs before mounting and chrooting, add f2fs in modules list in mkinitcpio.conf on installed system.
This is one of the many ways:
    (follow arch official installation guide)
create you partitions - you need to create boot partition!
    (Before chrooting)
Add repo which contains yaourt to /etc/pacman.conf
    [heftig]
    SigLevel = PackageOptional
    Server = http://pkgbuild.com/~heftig/repo/$arch
Install required dependencies (maybe I've missed some) and yaourt
    sudo pacman -Syy
sudo pacman -S autoconf automake make gcc binutils yaourt
    Install f2fs-tools finally
    yaourt -S f2fs-tools
    Load kernel  module
    modprobe f2fs
(in case your root partition is /dev/sda1 and boot partition is /dev/sda2)
create root partition as f2fs filesystem
    mkfs.f2fs /dev/sda1
and boot partition as ext4 (or whatever you want)
    mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2
mount, install and chroot as per official installation guide
add f2fs to modules section (should be empty) in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
remove fsck from hooks section (since f2fs doesn't have fsck yet)
    re-generate the initramfs image
    mkinitcpio -p linux
after you're done with everything, reboot and voila, there you have it.
Here are some benchmarks for those interested
    http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=a … 9_fs&num=1
Everything is very fast but I can't compare my view of performance to other filesystems since this is my first SSD.

  • When will support Android smartphones?

Some of our customers are very angry because Android Smartphones are not supported.
We have produce some apps in many Renditions for Android.
The problem is, that they are not visible in the Google Play Store.
The requirements of large or x-large is given.
But something in the "manifest.xml" of the .apk-File prevents the visibility.
When I install the .apk-File manually, the application works perfectly.
Please give me an answer when Adobe will support Android Smartphones like Samsung Galaxy SII or SIII.
It´s a great market for our customers and they do not accept that it does not work.

    Formally in 2013.

  • When will support mod_wl the Apache 2.2?

Apache 2.2 released a long time ago, and it has a lot of featured (caching etc) what we need.
When will Bea release a plugin for it??
    Regards.,
    LJ

Apache 2.2 plug-in is supported with WLS 10.0. We are in process to update the documentation. One can get mod_wl_22.so which will be available with WLS 10.0 Kit.
    Follow these steps
    1. Download Kit.
    2. Install Server and choose custom install, and select plug-in.
You can again contact the support, and get the plug-in by referring to this update.

  • When will Lightroom/Camera Raw support the Canon G15?

    Hi,
I just got a Canon G15 and I can't use the RAW files. I'd like to know if there's a roadmap for supporting the CR2 files for Canon G15 and if there's anything I can do besides wait for an update.
Please don't suggest the Canon imaging software, saving as JPEG or other workarounds, if I'd wanted to use that, I wouldn't be here.
    Thanks,

The point of having to adapt to each camera itself is baffling to me. Don't these guys have a standard file format, or something? How on Earth can you change the file format from one camera to another?
But that's another matter entirely. Thanks for the straight answer, I'll keep shooting my old 40d in the meantime, and make sure I buy only old, preferably second hand cameras, that are certainly supported.

Same issue here. I have to pull exposure all the way to -2 and get color clipping.
Have you tried to adjust the Raw Fine Tuning settings in the Adjustment panel? Lower the "Boost" slider settings?
