Only some of my pictures are on iCloud that are currently stored on my phone. Where are the others? Why aren't all the pictures from my iPhone showing in the iCloud? I can't find the pictures I saved from my ipodtouch, either....

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Google -- images found 57,800,000 results but only 30 or so showed up. How do I view more images? I like the older firefox better: I could scroll through hundreds of images.

I like the old firefox much better. When I go to Google --> images and type in "spider", Google tells me that 57,800,000 images were found, but only 30 (or so) are displayed now and there doesn't seem to be a way to access more images. Prior to the upgrade, I could scroll through page after page of images to find the best image for my needs. Tools --> options didn't provide any solutions.

rimsx: Thank you once again for the ideas. No error message is generated. I did try disabling all extensions to see if that did anything, too, and restarting firefox.
I work on a government computer, so maybe it's a problem getting through our firewall! Who knows? Chrome and Internet Explorer allow me to search through pictures, though, so I've got other options. For some odd reason, I was a little partial to firefox.
The way things work around here is that I can try using firefox again in a few months and everything will work perfectly!!!!

First, you may wish to check that your filtering and mail rules are not placing Apples email in your junk folder or even deleting it completely. If you have verified that this is not the case:
Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.

I am a new iPhone user and a novice.

I mistakenly deleted some photos from the camera roll thinking I could do so after copying them into a folder I created. The were deleted in both places! I have tried no less than 4 pieces of software downloaded off of the internet unsuccessfuly. I desperatley wish to retrieve these photos and am even willing to destroy the phone and purchase a new one to get them back. Can someone help? By the way, I had not backed up our set up my drop box before this tragic error.

You have done everything that you possibly can in order to retrieve the photos. If a third party software could not retrieve them for you, there is nothing more to be done. Do not waste your money by going out and purchasing another phone since that will do not good whatsoever in your quest to recover the photos.
Without a backup, they are gone forever now, sorry.

I hit close when it offered the tour, how can I view the OSX Mavericks tour now?

When I first installed the new software a notification appeared, similar to notifications from the ap store asking if I wanted to go through a tour of the new features. I accidentally hit close instaed of start and am wondering if I can experience the tour now.

Just like how hot_spur said it, go to finder and hit help there should be something that says whats new in osx mavericks, all it will do is like you to the webpage that hot_spur provided.

HT1725 itunes says the song is downloaded but, only half of it is there. How do i get the whole song?

I just tried to download a song I purchased and only half the song is there. when I go back to the itunes store it says the dowload is complete.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Change here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use.

Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your phone).

I am a new Indesign user and a Creative Cloud member. I was using the Window/Pages drop down window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEG files were sufficiently HI-Res for the printer. I don't know how I did it but somehow the window has changed so that now it does not have the alphabetical/numerical/Hi-Res information. It just shows the pages in a two page spread in numerical order. How can I restore the window so that I will be able to view the information as I did previously.

The pages panel is not the place where you see this information. You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.

I had duplicated contacts on my old iPhone. Went with Lion and iCloud, and the duplicates were gone. New iPhone yesterday and now all my contacts are duplicated again. How do I resolve?

When I first signed up with iCloud (and still had Mobile Me), my contacts all double or tripled, or more in my contact list. When I went with Lion and fully integrated iCloud, that issue resolved itself. I got a new iPhone yesterday, and when it was up and running, everything was fine. This morning, I notice that my contacts are all duplicated again. My personal contact is in my phone 10 times. How do I resolve this? My iTunes sync setting does not have me syning my contacts, it should just be in iCloud. Thanks for any help.

Where is the Apple problem? I have CS4 and CS5 running perfectly fine on my Macbook Pro. Installed 5 after Lion upgrade. Worth every cent. Adobe did have some catching up to do with Lion but with the CS5.5 update all runs fine. But not yours. So it is a problem with the Lion OS? You say you have been with Adobe since 2005. So you would be aware of all the other issues that Adobe had catching up with past Oss in Mac and Windows then. They get it right, but it is up to them. It is not up to Apple, nor Microsoft for that matter, to run around and check that every software developer in the world is running their business properly.
And what has politics got to do with anything. Some people just have to blame Software for their poor Hardware maintainence of failure of the same.
