HT201077 I am having trouble deleting individual photos from my iPad on shared photo streaming.
I am having trouble deleting individual photos on Shared Photo Streaming on my iPad 2. There is not a trash can or delete option. If I choose edit on the first page, and I try to delete, the next step is to cancel photo sharing, which I don't want to do.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Youre trying to delete photos from someone else's shared photostream. You can only delete photos that belong to you.

If I delete photos from my ipad, will those photos be deleted from my iphoto albums?
I assume the photos have made it onto the iPad through syncing with the computer with iTunes, yes?
Then you should sync again, but first remove the photos you don't want on the iPad anymore from the selection of photos to be sync'd.
You can delete them on the iPad, but (a) next time you're syncing they'll be back there again unless you excluded them then, and (b) you probably need the space on the iPad for stuff that's also coming from the computer via sync - so then you can do it all at once by modufying the selection of what shall be sync'd.
Hint: This is the forum for iPhoto as in "on the Mac". Since you're referring to iPhoto for iOS and seem to have a PC, not a Mac, you should post in the dedicated forum for iPhoto for iOS. -
HT1391 I am having trouble deleting tv shows from my account.
I need help deleting files from my iTunes acct.
It's not currently possible to permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they are less visible (so they won't show in the Purchased tab for re-downloading) : hiding and unhiding. If you are on iOS 6 on your iPad then you will need to do the hiding via your computer's iTunes, hiding doesn't currently work directly on iOS 6.
You should be able to delete from your computer's iTunes library (by selecting and deleting), and from the Videos app on your iPad (press and hold the the show on the programme selection tab) -
Is there a way to delete unwanted pictures from the Photos app on an iPad?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to the photo sheet page (the one with the thumbnails) tap the edit button in the top right corner, tap the photos you want to delete to select them, tap the delete button in the bottom right corner. -
Having trouble deleting movie files from itunes
I'm curious as to how I delete movies from itunes. I imported these clips of a movie into itunes and would now like to remove them but i can't seem to do that. I tried deleting the files off my hard drive. itunes recognizes that i deleted them but they still appear in the Video menu of itunes. Any help will be appreciated.
Windows XPHi, you can delete movies or music tracks from iTunes by selecting the file in the iTunes library and pressing delete, and then clicking the "Move to Trash" button in the confirmation box that pops up.

Having trouble deleting plug-in from Aperture.
I've been trying to get rid of a plug-in from aperture. I've tried deleting both by showing the package content from Aperture. I also tried to go through Library - Application Support - Aperture, but there wasn't any plug-in folder. I tried to show hidden folders, still didn't display. It still appears in Aperture, even though it's not usable due to compatibility problems. Any suggestions?
I'm running Lion on my mac, and I've had the same proglem with an application before, no solution was found. There are two places the plugin can be:
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
and
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
Triple click each line above in turn to select it, then right click (command click) the selection, choose Services->Open from the contextual menu. This will open the folder in finder. If the plug in isn;t in the forst folder try the second.
Make sure that once you delete the plugon you restart Aperture. -

Hi. I am having difficulty deleting photos from icloud - which in turn affects my 3rd generation ipad. Photos were added to icloud from my pc and then automatically added to ipad. I deleted photos from pc (not successful), attempted to reset icloud photo stream on ipad (not successful) and would appreciate any guidance as to how to remove these photos from an ipad that does not give me the option to do so. I have read other responses that lead me to believe it is not possible but hope this is not the case

Can't delete SOME photos from my iPad Photo Album
Hello there,
I need a bit of help. I'm using an iPad 2 OS 6.0.1.
There's a few photos that I'm not able to delete from my Photos folder.
I click on the Photos App
Then click on Edit
I then get the option to put check marks on the photos. At that point I can click on the Delete button and delete SOME of them, but not all.
It's strage because some of the ones I can't delete, just seem to be duplicates of some of the ones I CAN delete.
In the past, I was syncing my iPad to my computer. Since moving to the iCloud, I've stopped plugging my iPad into any computer. I've read some message boards that say that this is because those photos were added by syncing to the laptop and that in order to remove them, you have to re-sync to the laptop.
One BIG issue is, that laptop is now not functioning. Assuming these photos were added through that laptop, is there a way to remove them without syncing to that laptop? Also, why would there be some duplicates. Would it have been an error in the sync process that created the dups?
I'm thinking MAYBE the answer is going to be to sync the iPad to my NEW laptop. If that's the answer, is that safe to do without risk of losing stuff? (music, movies, apps, app data, settings)
Thanks,
BillThe links below have instructions for deleting photos.

How do i delete photos from my iPad that were imported from a camera
On a recent vacation, I backed up some 1,100 photos onto my iPad each day. Now that I'm home, I've imported the photos into Aperture (or iPhoto) from the camera and no longer need the photos on the iPad.
I can't find a way to delete them except:
one-by-one. VERY time consuming
importing them into a photo app again, selecting remove photos, then deleting the new redundant photos from the phot app
There must be a better way...The links below have instructions for deleting photos.
