How can I find the  menu where you can choose what sync's to the ipod touch?  I cannot find it with the "new" set up.  I need to stop the photos from my computer from moving to the ipod touch.

  • Stop Profile From Sync'ing to iPod Touch

    Hi All,
I have a question regarding permanently removing profiles from the iPod touch. I currently have an iPhone (which has a work related profile), but I use the same computer to sync my iPod touch. For some reason the work profile syncs onto the iPod touch even though the work application is not sync'd to the iPod. In addition, I manually have removed the profile from the Mobile Applications sub directory.
I also deleted the profile from from the iPod, but every time the iPod is sync'd the profile shows back how. How do I delete this permanently?
    Thanks.

It was actually loaded by an application from work. I think the profile is called a "Provisioning Profile" (not Configuration Profile). It is definitely loaded as part of the application, but I have removed the application and deleted the backup and sync histories...
No use, it still shows up after a sync. There is got to be something hidden...
    Thanks.

Change the options on the Photos tab when the device is connected to iTunes, and on the device review your options under Settings > iCloud > Photos.

  • How can I see or transfer my old photos from my iOS 6 iPod Touch to the 'Years, Collections, Moments' in my iOS 8 iPhone 5S?

How can I see or transfer my old photos from my iOS 6 iPod Touch to the 'Years, Collections, Moments' in my iOS 8 iPhone 5S?
For example, my mom's 'Years, Collections, Moments' in her iPhone 6 has pictures from her old iPhones, even her 3GS

    Greetings Yushk,
It seems you would like to transfer photos from your previous device to your iPhone 5S. I have linked to an article which may help you. You can transfer those photos to a Mac or PC, then sync them to your new device:
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
After you import your photos from your iOS device or Saved Photos, you can use iTunes to sync them back to your device.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.

  • Can you link Photos from Picassa to the iPod?

I want to get an iPod for a friend who uses a PC and Picassa to organize her photos. Will the iPod easily recognize Picassa and copy the photos to the iPod, or would she have to somehow move the photos from Picassa to the iPod?
    Thank you

Nope, Picassa won't recognize an iPod, and you cannot sync from Picassa directly to the iPod.
As long as they know where the picture files are on their computer, they can put them on through iTunes, though. They just choose the folder with the pictures on it, and all pictures in the folder will go to the iPod.

  • I have an iMac (OSX 10.9.2) and a Macbook (same).  I want to copy photos from one to the other.  how?

I have an iMac (OSX 10.9.2) and a Macbook (same).  I want to copy photos from one to the other.  how?

    I'm sorry.  I got a little off-the-wall there.
I want to have the same iPhoto files on both machines.  A few days ago I spent several hours swapping photos back and forth until I had one event with identical picture files on both.  Yesterday I scanned some old photos into the Macbook.  Today I wanted to copy them to the iMac.  I could not remember what I had done a few days ago, so I spent a couple of frustrating hours trying to either remember or find another way, to no avail.  I have no idea what I did right before; I only recall that it was pretty easy.
I didn't write anything down.  I used to do that, but what I do is so intermittent that by the time I want to copy pictures again either (a) the app has been updated and the old way doesn't work (b) I've lost the paper with the notes on it or (everything seems fine but it just doesn't work.  So I gave that up.
Yes, I do want both iPhoto libraries to be the same.  The Macbook is the one with the scanner and I download from my camera on the iMac, so I need to be able to move photos from one to the other, I think.

  • I want to restore my photos from icloud i had ipod touch .. Thats stolen right now so i bought i pod mini but cant get my photo back by using icloud i can get apps back thats not important i could find apps the important was my photos :(

Hello there i had i pod touch .. Thats stolen and i had many photo on that device so i bought an ipad mini now but i cant get my photos backk i only can restore my apps .. That is not important cus i could download them again the important is getting back my photos i tryed every thing and still couldnt get the photos back only i getting the aps .. Any help :-s ?

The backup of your iPod Touch would include your camera roll photos.  Restoring the backup to another iPod Touch or iPhone would recover them.  Photos will not be restored by restoring the backup to an iPad.
Note: Apple deletes iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this before then.

  • How to recover deleted photos and videos on the iPod touch?

I had a bunch of photos and videos from our feild trip to mammoth cave. I moved the photos to a new album and deleted them from the camera roll. I didn't know that it would delete them from the new album too. Please Hep!

Fortunately, with Coolmuster Data Recovery for iPhone iPad iPod software, recovering lost or deleted data from iPod is an easy job. The process won’t break a single sweat from you. All you need to do is to connect your device to your computer and with few clicks or drags, your treasured iPod files are now yours to use again. To avoid losing, you'd better to back up your iPod files by copying it to your computer either manually or using trusty backup software. If you've backed up iPod files with iTunes, the recovery success rate will be higher since this iPod data recovery software can help you recover lost or deleted data from iTunes backup file selectively, better than iTunes.

    PLEEZ HELP ME

If you use automatic syncing (not the manual method), you need to set up the Music tab.  The Music tab appears on the "row of tabs" that starts with Summary, when you select the iPod touch in iTunes.  Click on Music there.  This is where you define how iTunes automatically syncs the iPod touch.  First, make sure Sync Music is checked,
If your music library is smaller than the capacity of the iPod, you can select to sync Entire music library. Then, everything in your music library should sync to the iPod. Chances are, your music library is larger (or you don't want to completely fill your iPod touch with only music).  In that case, you need to choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, or genres.  Then, down below, select the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres to sync.  Click the Apply button to apply any changes you made to the sync settings.
Going forward, any changes you make to your iTunes Music library that are related to the settings on the Music tab, for your iPod touch, will be synced.  One simple way to set it up is to create a new playlist in iTunes (call it something like "iPod touch music").  Put only the songs you want on the iPod touch on that playlist.  Set up the Music tab to only sync that playlist.  Update that playlist (in iTunes) as needed and those changes will sync to the iPod touch when you connect it or click the Sync button.
