Where do I find my balance on gift card

If the card has been redeemed then its remaining amount should be on your account, the card itself is now effectively zero. My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my iOS devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

    I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, but if you've bought an iTunes gift card then it will be on the card, or if somebody has emailed youa gift then it will be in the email - you can then redeem it as per the page that you posted from.

    Thx. This *****. For the first time I feel Apple is not doing what's in the best interest of its customer. Well maybe the second time if you count its iOS6/Google feud. As long as the content is authorized is Canada, doesn't make sense to not allow you to spend your US money in the Canadian store.

    If it's an Apple gift card then it can only be used in an Apple store or the online Apple store.

    In the iTunes or App Store app, go to the Featured Tab, and swipe all the way to the bottom.
    On the button that has your Apple ID it should state your account balance under your Apple ID.
    If it doesn't. Tap on the button to bring up your Apple ID. At the top of the window that opens there should be a line that reads: "Apple ID Balance:"  and the amount you have.

    Once you redeem the card, there is no value left on it.  The Redeem process puts the full amount as a credit balance into your account, and then you spend it down by using your account. 
    As Gnome notes, you can always see how much is credit balance is on your account.
