Are you sure it is not simply asking you to verify credit card info?

How/when was the account created ? Unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you are being prompted to review your account then you could see if this post by mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without needing to enter credit card details : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24303054
If not then you will need to enter your credit card details - you should be able to remove them after entering them.
If you are trying to gift content then you will need to have a credit card on your account, you can't use your balance for gifting.

I am currently using a Credit Card for payment methods on the ITUNES store. But my sons are now using it also, so my husband thought it would be best to delete the card and buy ITUNES gift cards instead so we dont have to keep loading this card. But it's not deleting my information. I redeemed the cards already and says that I have a balance on my account. But when we try to purchase something it takes me to the billing screen and it says there is an issue with a previous purchase because the card was declined! What do I do?? Someone please help. hello can apple help me out.i am from Pakistan, i received iphone 4s as a gift, it was purchased in canada last march 2012. unfortunately its screen stopped working and inside screen when i try to look with external light. there was message "iphone disabled for 60 minutes" i tried restore but could not it downloads update but does not do anything i am heck upset its really something means to me alot. I tried to find out warranty claiming process but here in pakistan it has not been officially launched. Why so ? in a country where 50% people are using iphone and apple is not there? i was really shoked. well i really need help.please guide me how can i get it replaced or anything that can be claimed in warranty.it is still on warranty. But i am in pakistan where i can not find any istore where they deal with warranty. Please guide me i have studied alot and have read stories about people having same experience and apple helped them alot. Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:

If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.

I have imported bookmarks from Safari to Firefox but the bookmarks bar does not change in Firefox and match that of Safari. That's the part I need most. Any ideas why? Also, I don't see where to choose for Firefox to be my default browser.

I use a Imac with OS 10.6.7. I've just uploaded Firefox 4. I had Firefox 3 already but do not use it often. I've been using Safari. I imported bookmarks from Safari to Firefox, but the bookmarks bar in Firefox did not change to match that of Safari, and that's where the important bookmarks are. Any ideas?
Also, I can't find where to choose Firefox as my default browser.

Copy the files from the old Profile into the new Profile, replacing the existing files that are in the new Profile. That will make your new installation just like the old one.
Or if you just want your bookmarks, copy only the '''places.sqlite''' file from the old Profile into the new Profile.

I am using ihone 4 and so far is runnng well, however last night when i went down using stair the screen of iphone was suddenly enlarging, and i cant slide to input passcode (which I do remember). After several attempts to slide the screen in order to enter the passcode ( which was not working), my iphone is now disable, so how can i fix this problem?, really appreciate for the advice. think your zoom is enabled
double tap three fingers on the screen
then go to settings>general>accessibility >zoom
and disable it

Then there's nothing you can do. Only the previous owner can help you. They must either provide the ID and password, or erase the phone and remove it from their account as explained in the article you were reading. There's no way around this.

I already have my credit card detail on my profile since I purchased CC and used for about a month.
But now when I launch any app, a window pop up and keep asking for my credit card detail.
I followed the link and found my credit card detail already exist. I try removing and adding again but this windows still persist and counting down.
How can I solve this? I have to use Photoshop everyday and can't work if it is disabled.
FYI, my credit card is valid and have enough balance and is the same one I used to purchased CC.
