HT201209 I have downloaded and paid for  an app that is not working.  It has no sound.

I have paid for and downloaded a book app - for my grade 2 students to use.  It downloaded fine, but has no sound.  It is "Go away, Big Green Monster' by Ed Emberley - I have deleted and downloaded it several times - but it still has no sound?  What do I do to fix this problem or get my money back?
My next question is that I have bought and put in an itunes card to use on my ipad - but when I buy an app the ipad is still using my credit card and is not redeeming my itunes gift card - what to I do so that my gift card is used rather than my credit card?

If you open the App Store and go to Updates (on the bottom) and then Purchased (near the top), you will see your app there and you can download it again.

    First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
    Tap App Store.
    Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
    Tap Updates.
    Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
    Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
    Tap the download icon.
    The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

  • GPO is set for "Auto download and notify for install" but it does not work correctly on two of my servers.

    I have a problem with two of my servers. I have ~200 servers which are updating fine through WSUS. The settings are as you can see "3 - Auto download and notify for install" in the GPO.
    This is the correct setting. I want to achieve that I can install the updates whenever I want on these servers. On client computers there is a strict schedule with auto installs.
    My GPO works fine for 98% of my servers. On two servers (a big file server and a TMG server) the settings are made as you can see in the screenshots, but the updates still get installed automatically.
    I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here... It is a big problem for me that updates get installed automatically on these servers.
    Although the Policy and the Registry both say 3 the server behaves like option 4 is active.
    I would be very thankful for any input on how to find out what's the issue here.

    Then the Windows Update Agent DID NOT install this update, and it's not really a WSUS issue.
    My typical response to such a claim would be to ask you to show me in the WindowsUpdate.log where the update was installed... but it seems that request has already been answered.
    The more relevant question it seems, is HOW DID these updates allegedly get installed?

        Do you remember any of the names of the yoga classes you downloaded?
    If you do try searching your iPad for them using the search function.
        On your iPad's home screen, use one finger and slide down to revel the search box, and then type the name of one of the classes. It's possible that the files are located in a different area.
         Also is your iPad sync'd to another computer in your house? Are these audio files and video files? Can you download them again from yogadownloads.com ?

    Authorized music purchased will not play says unauthorized to play and when you follow instructions to fix the issue says authorized...

    If only a few songs on an album are doing that, that suggests the tracks are damaged.
    If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

    Recently downloaded an app for my iPod Touch.  It said it was compatible, but when I try to open the app, my screen goes blank for 3-5 seconds and then goes back to the menu page.  After reading further reviews of this app, several people are having the exact same problem.  I reported the issue to both Apple and the app manufacturer, but did not receive a response from either.  Apple then proceeded to charge my credit card as usual.
    The amount of the money ($3) is not significant, however, I feel that Apple should have a reliable way for customers to report problems with the apps they download and are being charged for.  I realize I could simply contact my credit card company and have the charge disputed, but there should be a way to deal with Apple directly on this.
    Does anyone have any input or experience with this?

    Yes, I reported the problem using that exact sequence immediately after discovering the problem with the app.  When I submitted my complaint and request, Apple redirected me the website of the app manufacturer where I submitted the same complaint/request for refund.  I have not heard back from either, and was still charged, so I can only assume that is not the correct way to "Report a Problem" even though Apple would have you believe otherwise.
