How much is the cost of what you wish to buy? The credit is used first and credit card info wouldbe requested for any outstanding balance. The US store prices do not reflect the local sales taxes that are added in the final steps of the purchase transaction.

It sounds like you added credit to your iTunes Store account but in iTunes Store on the Apple TV you are being prompted for a verification. I would start by double checking that the gift has been redeemed to your account with this article either on your computer or iOS device:

If so, then Restart the Apple TV:

Restart your Apple TV by selecting Settings > General > Restart.

I have just put an audio book into my iTunes music library. When I tried to transfer it to my iPod Shuffle it put the chapters in the wrong order i.e. Chap 1, Chap 10, Chap 11 etc. rather than Chap 1, Chap 2, Chap 3 ... How can I get it to put them in the order they appear in the book?
First, we need to know if the audiobook chapters are being treated by iTunes as music files or as audiobooks. If they are not audiobooks purchased from the iTunes store, they might be getting "shuffled". You will need to look at "File" - "Properties" (I think - I don't use iTunes under Windows - or right-click on the file and choose "properties") and look at the media type. If it is "Music", change it to "Audiobook". If this is not the problem, or does not fix anything, please post back.
Actually, looking at your post again, a second thought occurs to me - assuming there are less than 100 chapters in the book, just renaming them with a leading zero on the first nine chapters might do it. A computer will alphabetically sort filenames in the order you quote (1, 10, 11, 12, 13, ... 2, 21, etc.) but a leading zero will fix that (01, 02, 03 ... 10, 11, 12) -
My macbook pro is still under warranty. I have just put it into Mac 1 to be repaired because I had the folder with the dreaded Question mark on it....new hard drive. I was told that if I wanted my data retrieved, I would have to pay $445 p/h. Ahh!!! Shouldn't that be covered by warranty?
My newest Mac just did the same "folder of death" dance. It's too late for you now, but you might consider a passport backup drive.You can get 2&3 T-bytes now fairly reasonably priced. A given with computers is they will crash, just a question of how bad and when, so you can be prepared for the next time.

Contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan. -
I have tried to cancel credit card info but there is no option in my payment screen. There is only the option to choose 1 of 3 credit cards. What do I do next? Any and all help with be greatly appreciated!
I don't think that the "none" option is available in every country. Where are you located?
If you can't remove the credit card by any other means, you might want to contact iTunes support. You can choose your country in the bottom right corner.

I've just migrated my Logic Pro 9.1.8 to a new Mac because my old computer crashed. They are asking for a serial number, but I don't have the install disks anymore. Is there someplace in the software itself that I can find the serial number?

I just bought an iPhone 4 a few weeks back. I tried to delete their icloud account, and add mine but it's asking for a password to delete it. I have no way to get in contact with them. Is there any way around it?
There's no way around it. The former owner needs to erase the phone and remove it from their account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515. No one else can help with this, including Apple.

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

i have just put a screen protector on my iphone 4 and where there was something on the film it seems to have eaten into the screen. is there a way to clean these marks off?I wouldn't worry. Assuming you haven't hacked the phone you cannot have installed any viruses or spyware just by clicking a link in an email. Sounds like the page you accessed could not be read on the phone anyway, or it was just a dead link.

OK, you need to follow these instructions to remove the old iCloud account:
1. Go to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with your current ID and password. Edit your ID back to the old email address. This is temporary. Do NOT verify it, do NOT change your password: Apple - My Apple ID
2. Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom of the page. Depending on the iOS that you are running you will see either Delete Account or Sign Out. Click on this to Delete/Sign Out of the old iCloud account. Follow the prompts, and type in your current password when asked. Continue to follow the prompts until the account is signed out/deleted
3. Go back to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with the old email address and your current password, and edit your Apple ID back to the new ID. You may need to verify it again
4. Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign in with the new ID

I have a student trying to set up an App Store account (she has an Apple ID), however she is being asked for credit card information. The option of NONE does not appear as one of the choices with the other credit cards.
