I have lost my 16digit itunes card. I tunes reflects I have a remaining credit on the account. Is there any way of getting the number from I tunes, as it was initially entered to register the credit?

You can use a paper clip instead of the PIn that came with the iPad.

You can't download adobe flash player onto an iPad, flash isn't supported on iOS devices. Some sites/games have their own apps in the app store, and browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites
In terms of the $0.80, if you are trying to change country and you can't spend it, then you can try contacting iTunes Support and ask if they can remove the balance so that you can change countries : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

You should never update without making sure that you have saved everything on your computer first.
You should import all pics and vids before attempting any update.
If you have failed to save the data, then it is gone

See this thread for background on why iTunes can end up with duplicates and how they can be systematically removed. The script there is for Windows users and the "show duplicates" menus have moved around in iTunes 11, but the advice on clearing recently made duplicates should still hold.
As given in my older post "Reorganize library" is meant as a one time command to change the structure of a pre-iTunes 9 library into the newer layout that places music in its own subfolder of the media folder. Once used, if the option becomes available again that suggests that a file called .iTunes Preferences.plist in the media folder has been deleted or editied.

If your photos are in iPhoto or on your computer, then they are not lost. If you delete them from the iPad you have a major problem. You can check this out: iPad Data Recovery - Undelete & Rescue Lost Files from iPad.

I have visited a genuis bench at Fountain gate however, they tell me I need to ring apple support which I will do on the next working day.

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

I suspect that you are saying that you can't download/install the latest version of iTunes.
All I can say is try removing and reinstalling the Apple software using the following:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have further problems with installing Itunes I suggest you post in the iTunes forum since you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem. Also report the wording of any error messages. What they say is importent on resolving them.
