I was wondering if I purchase a song from iTunes on my laptop, if it would sync or automatically download to my iPod without my iPod being synced to my laptop.
No. You have to sync the device with iTunes to transfer the song.

You don't have to buy it again for the phone. On your phone, Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store>Automatic Downloads>Music>on. When you download it on the iPad, it will also download on the phone.

I'm trying to buy a song from ITunes which i have done many times, but it wont except my apple ID and a page comes up saying that its my first time buying from this computer and i have to answer security questions but it wont except my answers there either, which i know are right. i backed up my ipod and i lost all my music. And its not letting me put my music back on my iPod and i also tried to buy a song from iTunes but it didn't download to my IPod. So now i dont have any music on my ipod now

You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

Did you buy anything from the App Store? All of those stores are connected to the iTunes Store so that's probably why you got something that said iTunes on it.
If you bought an app, for example, that was $30 you'll probably see "iTunes Store" on the receipt. -

So some songs that i buy from itunes work fine others however dont. They show up on my phone but i cant get them to play. How can i fix this?

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.

I buy a song from iTunes and its only 30 seconds when i paid for the whole song
For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song. Im just confused on why it keeps doing that.
Thank you,Are you playing the songs from within the Music app? Or are you trying to play them from with in the iTunes app? On an iOS device, the iTunes app is just the store. All you'd get there would be the samples.

Why can't I get my songs from iTunes on my laptop on my iPod touch?
I have recently updated the ios on my Touch to v. 6. I have over 1,000 songs on iTunes in my new laptop, but for the life of me, every time I sync, it only recognizes the 21 songs already on the touch. How can I get the songs on iTunes on to the touch? I've tried all the instructions, but the sync only takes a few seconds and nothing is ever added to my ipod. This is so frustrating.
Since we have no way of knowing what all the instructions are that you are referring to .... first quit iTunes, restart your Touch, restart your PC and start all over again.
Then ...
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
Also assuming that you are signed into the same Apple ID on the Touch that you are using in iTunes - the ID that you used to purchase the music - if it is purchased music that will not sync. -

Might that new playlist be a smart playlist named something like "Recently Added"?
Yes, iTunes does create such a smart playlist and uses it to house recently downloaded songs.
If you want the songs to go to an existing playlist as well, set up the smart playlist to include rule(s) to include the latest additions.

Multi-instrument AUs disappeared
after rolling back to Tiger from Leopard, all of my multi-intrument AUs have disappeared (with the exception of Reaktor). They all list as stereo, but the multi versions have disappeared. reinstalling didnt fix it. can anyone give any advice? thanks
