Do you have a Credit Card on your iTunes account? If so, it wants that CCV verified....just a verification - nothing else. Your Gift Card will be debited first for any purchases as long as it has a balance.

You would have to work with a retailer selling iTunes cards who would accept a non-US credit card. Best Buy is a possibility; they carry iTunes prepaid cards and will accept orders from other countries:

You'll have to have the order shipped directly to the person in the US (or at least someone with a US address, who could then repackage and resend the cards for you).

I have Lion. I have software that is not yet ready for Yosemite and I need to download video editing software that will only run on Mountain Lion and above. With this in mind, I purchased Mountain Lion online LAST WEEK. I received the secure email/pdf and tried to redeem it from Apple Store. I keep getting this message: "This item is being modified. Please try again later". That was about 6 DAYS AGO. I gave it some time and tried today and I am still getting this message.
What is going on? Called customer service and got disconnected twice (I don't think intentionally though). The third person had more info on this and it seems that Apple is just finding out about this and it may be related to the Watch rollout. Why don't Apple people say something? I check online and my order says "complete" but I have not received what I paid for and there's an error occurring. Now I am just here waiting to see if and when I can get this software.
Can someone provide more info on this? Is there another way to get Mountain Lion? Is it available on disc?
Without the OS upgrade I cannot use the video editing software.App Store support. There is troubleshooting and a contact link.

Read the fixes. Cannot open Firefox in safe mode. Have tried reinstalling Firefox. Crash occurs each time I try to launch Firefox. Have run scans, checked for malware, spyware, installed all windows updates and still no luck.
Have accessed my crash reports. One of the reasons indicated is:
GenuineIntel family 6 model 23 stepping 10
Crash Reason
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE
Have no idea how to fix this and have had crash reports since yesterday evening.

Wasn't trying to qualify firefox as malware - was terming it that way because the malware was crashing Firefox and no other issue. Worked on it and had isolated the virus in avast (put it in the chest) and was searching for assistance on why even after isolating the virus and restarting (some forums had indicated to then uninstall and reinstall Firefox, which I did), still would not launch without the crash report.
Worked the problem and eventually installed a 5.0 version of Firefox and it launches. Only seems to have the crash report with 6.0 or higher.
The forums had suggested that if after isolating the malware in avast or disinfecting it with MBAM (tried that too), to uninstall and then reinstall the latest version of firefox. That's when I tried the older versions. Had run a boot log scan as well and didn't see any additional problems. Just can't launch in 6.0 or higher. -
Turning off the compatibility mode by deselecting the check box under each thing that it wants did nothing for my access to the itunes store, still a white page with "itunes store" in the middle of it. This is getting rediculous! Someone with computer smarts please help, I am at the end of my rope!
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Does anybody know why my home sharing would stop and I cannot get the Apple TV to recognise the ID or possibly the password? Nothing was changed and it stopped. Now I've done everything including new apple ID and password but it still wont connect.
Either the most recent updates to iTunes or the Apple TV have changed connectivity to one another. Review the following link as the configuration presented may not be the same as yours but the concepts are the same. Once completed, you will have connectivity back.

Whenever I try to redeem my gift card, it asks me for my password. When I type it in and submit, it clears the field. My gift card balance shows as $10 in the corner by my name. ???
I have finally figured out this very frustrating situation. Ok I had the same problem, I have a $16.00 balance but when I click on the price next to the item I wanted to purchase it said "do you want to buy" I said yes, then it asked me to verify my billing information...which is stupid because I'm paying with a gift card. So just say "yes" to the billing info and when it pulls up your information just click the "NONE" as your payment option next to all the credit card options. Then click "done" and then it will let you purchase with your gift card. Really weird and frustrating. Hope this helps some people.

I'm so annoyed with Apple! I bought a gift card tried to redeem it and I'm logged in to itunes but it gives me the please login red warning.
I had the same problem and I solved it by redeeming my iTunes gift card on my iPod Touch. Doesn't really fix the problem, but I found a way around it!

You can use the Search field in iOS 7 to find out if your apps are installed on your phone somewhere that maybe you haven't noticed, and I have linked some information about that right here:

what else do I need to do to open Adobe Photoshop Elements 13? I've followed all the instructions except subscribing to cloud. I am on a new computer and have moved Photoshop Elements 10 from the old computer. I purchased the upgrade, downloaded, installed and extracted, but it still doesn't show up as a program in my files. please help!

If you go to that link I gave you before and expand the Photoshop Elements 13 part, you should see two downloads for Windows - 32-bit and a 64-bit. Make sure that you download the correct one for your system. Once it is downloaded, just double click on it to start the extraction.
Be patient as it sometimes looks as though it is not doing anything but is actually working in the background. May take a minute or two but it seems longer.
