i was restoring my iphone again (it did this three weeks ago) and now its saying that i cant because of error code 1

Obviously you forgot to post in question format and forgot a question mark.
Error code -1 is a hardware failure, often caused by jailbreaking. There's nothing you can do but to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation. If your phone is not under warranty, exchange will be $149, unless they determined the failure was due to jailbreaking. Then you'll be required to purchase a brand new phone.

Sorry, but downgrading is not supported, that's what the error is about.
The only thing to make sure that the software is installed correctly on your phone would be setting it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterward and setting up the personal data manually.

Error code when syncing iPhone

Elements 7 used to work just fine with my iPhone until about a week ago. iPhone upgraded it's software during this time.
Now when I try syncing iPhone, Adobe Photo Downloader opens, finds the iPhone, starts loading pics, then a window pops up with the following code:
Error Code c0000005
Address 7c910a19
Then Adobe shuts down without moving any of the pics.
It used to work fine, now nothing.
Apple insists that the problem is from Adobe's side as they have no record of that error code.
Anyone have an idea?

I followed the advice to remove email attachments, and tried some additional steps. Here's what I did:
First, I deleted any photos from the iPhone that were saved from email attachments. I then tried to download via APD. The same error came up as before and APD terminated itself.
Second, I deleted any photos saved from any other source (web pages, etc), as well as any photos that had been created by iPhone photo editing apps. The only photos left on my iPhone were those taken specifically with the iPhone camera and not altered by any other app. I then tried to download via APD again. Again, I got an error and APD terminated itself.
Third, I tried removing all vidoes from the iPhone. Again, I got an error in APD and it terminated itself.
Fourth, I deleted all remaining photos from my iPhone, leaving the Camera Roll on the iPhone completely empty. I then took a new photo with the iPhone and tried to use APD to download it into PSE Organizer. It worked fine. No error.
Fifth, I attached a photo from another source to an email and sent it to my iPhone. I received the email on my iPhone and saved the attached photo to my iPhone's Camera Roll. I then used APD and was able to download both photos (the one taken with the iPhone and the emailed attachment) into PSE. Apparently, being a saved email attachment is not, on its own, enough to cause an error in APD.
Conclusion: I can, for the time being, use APD to get photos from my iPhone into Elements. It seems APD didn't like something about one or more of the photos previously on my iPhone. Only time will tell if this issue could come up again.
I hope this helps some of you who have the same problem, since official PSE support is so lacking.

Itunes error 1 when restoring iphone to 7.1.2

So i got a iphone 4s from my friend he told me he was upgrading and his power went out when was upgrading to 7.1.1.He gave the iphone to me to see if i could try to fix it.It is stuck at the connect to itunes screen so when i upgrade to 7.1.2 in Itunes it stops at "Restoring Iphone Firmware" and says error 1 .If tried it on 3 different computers,I used oem cables.
I have the update Itunes
I have the latest java(i dont know if it affects)
I restarted my computer
The only i thing i have plugged in is the iphone itself( im using a laptop)windows 8.1
If anyone can help me to solve my problem .

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 1:
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Most are unhelpful posts such as yours, but the ones with actual advice I followed to the tee and still I cannot get my phone to restore. Ive turned off fvirewalls, connected via a cable, tried a different usb port (4) tried 2 different cables, tried connecting directly to my router and wirelessly all with absolutely no resolution.
Do you have something else I could try rather than a patronising reply about ettiquette?

Error 3014 when restoring iphone 3gs

Hello everyone.
This is my first post.
I have an iphone 3gs 8 gig, which i have been using just fine for about a year now but yesterday I tried to update the software as I was running an old version (4.2 I think?) and the facebook ap and some others were no longer supported. So I updated my itunes to the latest version (10.7.021) then backed up my iphone to make sure I didnt lose any data/pictures. It then downloaded the new ios software and tried to update the iphone. It extracts the software fine, but hangs just after with the error message:
"The iphone could not be restored, An unknown error occured (3014)"
Im running windows XP on a toshiba satellite pro laptop, all my windows updates are up to date and I am connected correctly to the internet.
Can somebody please help me as I now have a completely dead iphone
If I cant get the new ios to work on this older 3GS is there a way I can instal a version that will work?
This phone has never been jailbroken and I dont want to start doing that sort of thing now really..
Any help is very gratefully received!!

pls inform me itune error code 1669

You know, I guess I didn't read your post close enough. I did not realize you were trying to downgrade the software to 5.1.1. There is no Apple supported method for downgrading software. You will not be able to do that. The only software you can restore to now is iOS 6.

Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Error 1603 when restoring Iphone!!!

My iphone randomly stuffed up, it is stuck on the Apple Logo, and currently I can get it into the restore mode by holding the sleep and home buttom method connected to itunes..
However, once it is in Itunes, when I click restore, it loads for a few seconds and then gives me Error 1603. I have done everything that apple recomends to fix this error and nothing changes... I don't know what to do anymore. I cannot take it to a store to get fixed because the glass is cracked on the front and they refuse to fix it.

First find and delete all the .ipsw files on your computer, there should only be one, but delete ALL that you find. They are located here:
OS X: ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
XP: C:\Documents and Settings[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
7 & Vista: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
You may have to turn on "show all hidden files" to find them.
Once done, reboot your computer.
Then, see if you can force the phone into recovery mode:
Turn your phone off(if you can), if not try to reset: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release. Then, leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select "new".

ITunes error -1 when restoring iPhone from backup after iOS5 update

If no one can help me fix this hopefully somebody might at least be able to tell me what -1 error means!
I have an iPhone 3GS and before i updated to iOS5 i upgraded my itunes on my Mac and synced and backed up everything. I did the iOS5 update which went fine and i have it installed on my phone. When i went to restore from backup it looked like it was working for 2mins then it comes up with the error message saying unable to restore from backup (-1). I have done this a good few times now all with the same result. Any suggestions? Everything has been completely wiped from my phone and im desperate to get it all back.

How to pass error message when restoring iPhone on iTunes?

I am trying to restore my iPhone on iTunes. But since I have update my MbP to OSX 10.8.2 I can not get passed an error message on iTunes after it is done extracting the software and is contacting iTunes. I have wifi and everything works fine. I heard it could be a host issue, but I have no idea how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Resolve communication issues
Check the hosts file or TCP/IP filtering, which might cause communication issues between iTunes, ports, and servers.
Common errors: 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194, or 3000-3999. These alerts refer to gs.apple.com, say "There was a problem downloading the software", or say the "device isn't eligible for the requested build".
Did you at any point have the iOS 7 beta on your device? Have you ever done a jailbreak on this iPhone, or has this computer ever been used to jailbreak an iOS device?

Error codes when restoring ATV 2G

Arrrggghhh I'm about to go nuts.
Bought an ATV2 from a guy. I think it was jailbroken (I had mediacenter on it)?
Today it just shows connect to iTunes and so I did. Nothing happened but iTunes was able to see the ATV connected. Have tried to restore and update the whole day but lots of different errors occour (3194,21,16xx etc.)
Not possible to get it to work.
Anyone has an idea before I trhrow it into the sea?

Seems I'm the only one posting on this thread. Oh, well...at least if someone else reads it they are getting some helpful information.
So today I removed a 5 port USB 2.0 card (aftermarket addition) and attempted sync. SUCCESS! No failures, no warnings, no issues, no problems. Previously, windows explorer had been slow to respont whenever the iPod had was connected to any port of that card. Not sure if any other external devices was affected, as I only occasionally use this card.
So the conclusion is that the USB card was faulty. If I remember correctly, it was about $15 from MicroCenter. Not a bargain afterall!
