tried to update ipad to ios6 1.3 but it has stopped going through download and up comes message saying error (-1) can someone tell me why this happens.

When I talked to My ISP they had me go to the settings on the new modem/router they installed and yes this is THEIR fault. NOT APPLE's The DNS was not set correctly. they gave me the numbers to put into the router and guess what all is working correctly. When i update the BBPCRM component to SP06 to SP07, at the last step to confirm the queue, then i use the Support package manager for EBP/ CRM tool to confirm as its guide. but in 'Resolve Conflicting Versions of Changed BDoc Types" step, when i click the Excute button, it pop up following inforamtion

I checked thsi Note, and follwed this Correction instruction , i checked my system and found the'a_checkbox AS CHECKBOX INPUT OFFa_checkbox AS CHECKBOX INPUT OFF' has been chaged to ON Status when i apply the SP07 of BBPCRM in the object BDM_TRANSACTION_POSTPROCESS, but the error still exist. i don't know how to handle it. if you can give further help,
it will appricate.

I often tried to update my iPad 2 to iOS 5 but it doesn't work.
My newest error is -5000.
What does this mean? I'm very upset because I was trying it for months and it's always something different!

I have a new pc, and when updating ipad software it will erase all apps etc, is there any way to stop this from happening and make my new laptop my ipads "home" pc???

I have a new laptop, and have copied over my existing itunes libary, but when i connect my ipad, and go to update the software to the new version it warns me that it will wipe all my apps etc..... How can i stop this from happening and make my new laptop the "home" for my ipad??

Macs use an application called Migration Assistant to copy material from the old Mac to the new one. The macs are connected together and each runs Migration Assistance and the user chooses what stuf to copy onto the new Mac.
Unfortunately I do not know how to do this between pcs or between a Mac and a Pf or even if it's even possible.

Had the problem also. Found in the forums and it worked for me:
go to settings
go to app store or "store" on my ipad
click on the apple id
sign out
sign in, again with id and password
then do update.

I have tried to restore my contacts and company data at least 20 times and every time half way through THE iPAD REBOOTS! When it boots back up it is at the brand new iPad screen.
This makes me angry as I do not use the iPad for fun and games. I use it for business. My company data and records for the last year are gone. ALL of my out standing customer invoices are gone. ALL payments received are gone! ALL Business contacts and emails ARE GONE! All my company, personal email accounts and settings ARE GONE!
What am I supposed to do now? In 6 hours I have to get on the road and conduct business with a empty blank factory out of the box iPad. How am I supposed to know who owes me money or who has paid their bills Apple? All of my meetings and calendar dates are GONE!
Everything was supposed to be backed up and restored after the update!

Yes! I have done everything. Rebooted computer, checked for updates, Hard booted iPad, Factory restored iPad to ios 5 twice, tried every usb port I have, unplugged all other usb components.
Everytime half way through "Restoring iPad from backup..." The iPad turns off shows a spinning circle then shows the Apple logo and takes me to the brand new iPad setup screen.

I manually snyc'ed that particular app and then re-ran the restore and am now the proud owner of a working iphone. Not sure it is the same problem or app but looking in the console was the key!

Try restarting everything and then try to sync or reactivate. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

HT5654 when updating my ipad through itunes, it said it needed to be restored. upon trying that, now it says.. cannot be restored. and brings up an error code

when updating my ipad through itunes, it told me it needed to be restored, when i tried that, it then told me it cannot be restored, gave an error code, and all it does is sit at tell me to plug it in to itunes... which it is.. any ideas?

Ipad error when updating to OS 4.3

When updating to 4.3 OS on my IPad, I received an error message. Now I can't turn on my ipad and Itunes doesn't recognize it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes and followed all the steps in Apple support. Each time I plug the Ipad into the USB port on my computer, I get a hardware installation notification to install Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode). Help.

I have the same problem I have tried to update twice now it starts to backup slowly! and after a short while I get the same error message 402653083 I have tried cancelling it and tried saying proceed with a view to reinstalling from my back up but both times it failed to do anything
