HT201210 how do i get my phone out of recovery mode. Ios6 update fail
What can i say. I woke up to a notification saying ios 6 was available for download. i click yes as it sits on my wall charger. I go about my day, come back about a half hour later and its stuck in recoverymode (usb pointing at Itunes) I have tried almost everything to get it out. all the forums all the programs even the factory settings restore gave me a 3194 error. please help!!! its an iphon4

It's impossible to say exactly why it went into recovery mode. To get it out, plug it into your computer running iTunes and restore it.

I was attempting to do the newest IOS 7 update and halfway through the reboot my phone froze. I attempted to restart the reboot by shutting the phone off but when it came back on it showed a USB cord with an arrow pointing to the itunes symbol. When I plugged the phone in it stated that my phone was in recovery mode and needed to by restored. When I attempted to restore the phone it "extracted data" for approximately 30 min and then stated the phone could not be found. I tried this 4 separate times and took the phone to the local Verizon store who tried the same thing with the same results. What do I do?

My phone is stuck in recovery mode. I'm just wondering if there is a way to get it out of recovery mode without resetting it to factory settings. I don't have any recent back-up available. There are alot of photos on my phone I would prefer not to lose by ressetting it back to factory.
