If those solutions don't work your iPhone 4s has probably developed a hardware problem. The permanent solution is to get it replaced.

Hey, this other day my iPhone 4 came after i had ordered it from apple.com and after i had started the phone and using it i made a pincode for the phone. After that i forgot the pincode, and i had to wait 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour, then i had to plug in the iPhone to iTunes cause it was deactiveted.
I got warnings that said that "iTunes couldnt connect with the iPhone cause it had a lock with a pincode that i had forgot about. And i had to enter the code to go through with it" and after that i tried to reboot my iPhone, and i got the same warning..
So can anyone help me?You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

I was updating my phone in itunes and the "update went wrong" and now the phone is not recognized by itunes. I unattatched the phone and it wont turn on or off, just shows a picture of the itunes symbol and a usb cord. In itunes it says that it is an unknown iphone and is in recovery mode so I need to restore the phone. If I restore the phone I loose all my pictures, which I dont want to do...and my contacts. Is there any way around this, so I can get my phone back to normal without wiping it all out? Thanks

Lately when I've tried to update the software on my phone, the software will download to my computer and at the very end an error message will pop up saying that the network connecton timed out, even though I was on the internet still. I have then tried again only to get the same results. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Your apps / music / photos etc are stored in iTunes on your computer.
Just do the Restore then re sync your iTunes media.

Front Row won't play widescren
