I tried to update the latest version for the iPod touch and it couldn't complete the install. my iPod screen had the apple icon with the progression bar when it couldn't update and it stuck there. iTunes doesn't recognize my device.
How do I restore, if iTunes doesn't see my iPod?
Plug your device into iTunes. Hold the home & sleep buttons at the same time. After 10 secs release the 2 buttons. iTunes will tell you it's found a device in DFU mode. The iPod screen will stay black. At this point do a restore. If you see the Apple logo you have held them for too long.

First, I've read the manual. This new Nano won't sync and won't charge. Itunes does recognize the device. When it's connected to a Windows PC, the battery indictor shows charged. When it's not connected, the indicator shows no charge. I've tried this on two PCS without success.
Maybe the Nano you got is defective. Have it replaced.

I tried to install the latest update on my iPhone 4s and now it seems to be frozen with an apple icon and a loading bar on the screen. I've tried turning it off, plugging it in to the wall outlet, plugging it into my computer. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Hold down on the home and power buttons at the same time until the iPad shuts down and the Apple logo appears again.
You might need to connect to a PC running iTunes to restore if the update got corrupted and can't complete -
i have a HP laptop, when i try to do certain things that require flash player it tells me i need to install the latest version so when i try it says its already installed. i have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions and it stll isnt working. I even checked the activex filtering and that doesn't seem to be the problem.

When my wife's Mac Book Pro was being updated to the latest version of OS X the laptop locked up at a grey screen with the Apple icon and status bar. I tried to update the other day to OS 6.01, but it said I couldn't. I was away from my computer, so didn't worry about it. I thought I'd do it later. When I boarded the airplane, I shut down my ipad and then when I tried to turn it back on, I get the apple logo, then a flash and then the apple logo again. I have tried putting it into recovery mode, but it won't go. I push the home and power key to get it off, then press the home key while plugging it in via USB. I keep the home key pressed, but the Connect to Itunes never comes up. What do I do?
While connected, it goes from white apple to grey apple to black out flash and back to white apple about every minute or two. -

Select About This Mac from the Apple menu. The dialog will display the installed version.

Adobe Flash is not an add-on, it's a plug-in and you have to use the Plug-in Check to check for updates:

At the end of setup asks if Admin or Current User. Since I don't know what the password is even though I'm the Admin / only person on the pc, I select Current User.
