I updated my ipad 1 to 5.1.1 and after that, my ipad shows black screen only, no more screens, what can i do to fix it,a already tried to recover several times, on three different computers nothing happens
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

I got a new IPhone 5 at the end of July and it worked just fine, but when I updated to IOS 7 now it freezes anytime I type something. I can push the letters on the screen and then about 1 minute later they will display on the screen. I even updated to IOS 7.0.2 hoping this would fix this problem, but it did not.
I doesn't matter if it is a text or in an app on the phone I can't type with the keyboard with out a long dely in the time I type the letters and the time they appear on the screen and then if is misspell or misstype something then I have to wait again to delete it and retype it.
What can I do to fix this problem I have rebooted the phone several times and it continues and I have even HARD booted the phone by holding Home button and top button to lock or power off until it shuts off and then turned it back on and it still does the same thing.
I can't really use my phone to type anything it is very frusterating!!!!!!I have Sprint and all my friends have other carriers. There's are working perfectly fine. I have an iPhone 5 and since I updated it, it gives me an invalid SIM message. I called sprint and they told me to take out the sim and put it back in after a minute. No matter what I do, after about an hour of restarting it it shows "Invalid SIM"

fewq days ago i updated my i pad to ios 6 by connecting it to the labtop , since that time my i pad is dead it doesn't want to switch on anymore the only message i get on the screen is a picture of wire connection with i tunes tried to connecting it hundred times with the labtop but without any response don't know what to doIf force restarting doesnt work, and your computer cant recognize it, I would suggest bringing it to the genius bar at an apple store so they can run diagnostics. This seems to be the last step, because the issue seems pretty serious.

This is to report the problem i encountered when i updated my Ipad mini to the new IOS 8.1..
After the update my Ipad restart and after that it appears a picture that need to connect to itunes and need to restore. So i connect it to itunes and wait to restore my ipad mini because it is not opening.
After restoring it my ipad is now opening and it is like new that i need to set up again.
I set up again until i reach the apple id and password.
I put my below apple ID and password to unlock my ipad but it didn't work. The message i receive is "the apple ID cannot be used to unlock this Ipad.
What will I do? Please help.

IF RESET DOESN'T WORK, FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.

During the update process (to 7.1.2), my iPad went to black death! Shows black screen with the apple logo on it. (attached picture) Update bar stopped and seen, but I have no access to it, even can not switch it off!
Can I reboot it someway?Had same problem. Black screen with apple white logo. Progress bar stucked.
Followed this advice of turning down while holding power and home buttons together and iPad turned down.
When turned on it now came updated with 7.1.2 (11D257).
Problem soved.

Quick update, the duplicate of the comic-con episode downloaded succesfully, and so has the first episode of Supernatural season 8. Blue dots appear to their left in the library.
All the Vampire Diaries episodes (except the bonus comic-con double) have vanished, but I paid for them !
They're not anywhere on my harddrive either.
Which is new by the way, this is a new MacbookPro, literally set it up today.
So it would seem this is a case of purchased and pseudo-downloaded episodes that ended up beinge gobbled up by some iTunes black hole, leaving me with no money, and no episodes.

2/3/14: I just updated numbers to newest version and found that numbers quits to home screen when I tap the information icon on "function help", it starts to load the "help" then quits. It happens on both my ipad3 & iphone5. I tried restarting the devices but it didn't help.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
