HT201210 Iphone stuck in recovery mode!
I unplugged prematurely before update was finished, and that sent my Iphone 4S into recovery mode. I don't want to restore b/c I haven't backed up in about 2 weeks. I've tried RecBoot. Also tried holding sleep and home button down simultaneously. Neither worked. I'm in a rush to fix this. Can anyone help?!

HT201210 iPhone stuck in recovery mode error 11
Was having major battery issues over the last couple of days:
From fully charged to 13% in less than 4 hours,
Phone extremely hot to the touch after use
Showing "no storage left" on device, yet I had 6GB.
Ran behavior scan, nothing out of the ordinary except for the
photos... 300 in camera roll, 1000 in photostream, but it was
showing I had a total of 1300 in camera roll and that's why
I've been having storage issues...
Anyway, the main issue now is that I'm stuck in recovery mode.
Tried to restore numerous times and have been getting error 11.
My iTunes wasn't up to date, so I will be doing that now and
giving it another shot.
Any ideas?
I have an 11" MBA running Lion.Did you try a different usb port/cord or a differrent computer?

Iphone stuck in recovery mode trying to update
I was attempting to update to the new ios 8. I did this all in the normal way as i usually do. When it got to the extracting software at the top of the itunes screen it took about 1 hour for this to nearly reach the end. then just before it reached the end it stopped and said it could not be restored as the iphone could not be found. now the iphone 5 is stuck in recovery mode and every time i connect it to itunes it says i need restore which i do and then the same thing keeps happening. it goes to extracting software bar for an hour and then stops just as it is about to finish.
i have a laptop with windows xp and have installed latest itunes, i have attempted rebooting everything with no joy.
please help.
iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4Follow exactly what I wrote below to fix iPhone stuck in recovery mode:
Hold both power button & home button for 10 seconds.
Once the device shuts off release the power button and keep holding the home button for 10 more seconds.
The screen will remain black, plug it up to iTunes and see if it detects it.
If that does not work hold both buttons to make device shut down, once screen is off hold the home button while plugging it up to PC.
Do not let go of home button till recovery screen shows up on your device. -
Iphone stuck in recovery mode, what now
iphone stuck in recovery mode, what do i do now pls?
Updating iTunes has nothing to do with an iDevice going into recovery mode.
If the device is in recovery mode, restore it via iTunes on a computer. -
I have an iPhone 4S and it has been stuck in recovery mode for whatever reason. I have tried using data recovery software that can turn my phone to normal mode but when it tries all my phone does in turn off and then on again, back into recovery mode. I can't use iTunes to recover my phone because it won't let me do it without updating and recovering the iPhone. When I do this it gives me the error "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"
Is there any other way I can restore my phone from backup without getting this error?https://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?facet=content&type=discussion&sort=rel evanceDesc&showAnsweredFirst=true&q=This…

IPhone stuck in recovery mode after failed update.
Hi, I have a bad situation here... My iPhone 5 got stuck in recovery mode after I tried to update to iOS 7.1.1 from 7.0.4 and it failed (error code 6). If this was my iPod touch I would just restore it because all I have is music, but this iPhone has all my sisters graduation photos, important photos, important school documents, contacts, app data, videos from concerts. Etc. I was wondering if I could get the photos off the phone before restoring it, because they are important. I know I should've backed up my photos and made a backup of the phone, but I've been really busy with a lot of stuff. So I was just wondering if there is any way to get the photos and app data back. The app data doesn't really matter but the photos do. The device was not jailbroken or hacked in any way.
If you could help, tell me ASAP.
-JPWhen your phone is in recovery mode, it's like it crashed. The only way that you can get it out of recovery mode is by restoring, and this erases all your data as well.
You can believe what you wish by "reading all over the internet". This is Apple's technical support forum. We do know what we're talking about.
since you have very important photos on your phone, why haven't you been importing them to your computer as soon as possible after taking them? This is how the phone is meant to be used. Keeping critical data on only a device which can be easily stolen, dropped and broken is just plain foolish. Also, did you not back up your phone (as you should be doing with any computer) before attempting any operating system update? As you've now just painfully learned, updates do not always go as planned.
I'm sorry for your data loss, but let this be a very important lesson. BTW, when was the last time you backed up your computer? I'm sure you have important data on your computer. Hard drives WILL fail. -

IPhone stuck in recovery mode, I can't even reset it to factory settings
I wrote a post before this but it seems like it got deleted???
My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode and I've tried everything but nothing works! I can't even reset it to factory settings because I keep getting the "Connect to iTunes" screen. Is there any way that I can reset it to factory settings without using iTunes?
I've searched all over the web, haven't found anything on this... I've tried all the apps that help exit from recovery mode but none of them work!
Please, any help is appreciated! Thank you!https://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?facet=content&type=discussion&sort=rel evanceDesc&showAnsweredFirst=true&q=This…

When I started iTunes today it asked if I wanted to update to 8.2.1. I agreed.
Now, my iPhone is stuck in recovery mode (USB plug + iTunes icon on the iPhone screen).
My phone is useless at this point. I DEPEND on having this phone working, and NEED the data stored on this phone.
How can I simply get my phone working again?Unfortunately, that does not help me either.
At this point the phone will not come out of recovery mode without being restored. All my data is going to be lost.
Thanks for letting me have access to backup my data, APPLE! -- NOT!
I'll be glad when my cell contract is over. -

Can i recover my photos from iphone stuck in recovery mode?
Can I recover my photos from an iphone 4 stuck in recovery mode?
Not likely.
You can try a reset (Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears) to see if it kicks it out of recovery but most likely you will need to restore.
Did you backup with iTunes or iCloud? -
