HT201210 IPhone stuck midway in a download for IOS 6, can't do anything.
I tried the IOS 6 download for my iphone 4, previously on ios 5.1.1, however when the download finished it said I needed to update itunes. I did so and went back to the download however when I started it again it froze, I have tried to restore it repeatedly but it comes up with "error 1645" and stops. I have tried all the solutions on the internet but none work - help!

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

I tried to upgrade Reader and got a 1316 message. So I thought I would uninstall it and try a new clean download. Now I can't do anything. It is looking for Data\Adobe\reader 9.1.cab, Any suggestions?
You may also not want to shout (large bold print) when you go to the Reader forum. It irritates a lot of folks and may distract from your question.

Lion 10.7.5 is as far as you can go. You must have at least 2 GBs of installed RAM.

Did you set up restrictions for changing account info in Settings/General/Restrictions? If yes, disable them and try again to edit your mail account info.

Some are reporting that logging out and back into your account again will resolve this. However if your problem persists:
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will need to click the large ‘Report A Problem’ button under the list of previous purchases in order to reveal the ‘Report A Problem’ link for your recent purchase. If your purchase is listed as a previous purchase use the small arrow on the left side of its listing.
Alternatively you can use the receipt email to report a problem. -
