HT201210 Just replaced the battery in my iPhone 4S. Before doing so I backed-up then wiped the phone. Now when I go to restore it, it gets about 3/4 done and that is when I get an error message, "Code 1." does this mean I fried it?? :-(

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

I just updated my iOS a few days ago, and now my battery is draining at a rate of 20% every hour. I've turned off everything I can think of, including bluetooth, wifi, gps, etc., and it's still exactly the same. I have not been using my iPhone anymore than before, if anything, maybe less. Standby: Amount of time iPhone has been powered on since its last full charge, including the time the phone has been asleep.
When these two times are the same or very close together, that is almost always indicitive of something using your phone's battery life, even if you're not using it - (e.g. auto-lock set to "Never", Email auto-checking options set to "Push" and the email account having many mailboxes/folders)

What version of iTunes are you using? The error you references seems to be connected with iTunes 9.0.4. That version of iTunes is not compatible with iOS 6. You need to update to the current version of iTunes.

The battery of my iPhone 5 easily discharges even when not in use. The unit was tested by Apple and passed the Battery Health Test although the performance showed otherwise. The battery deterioration started 11 months after purchase and is not covered by Apple warranty. What is the problem of the iPhone5 and would appreciate suggestions on how to address this problem. By the way, I have a 2 year old iphone 4S with a battery performance as good as when it was bought two years ago.

Try restoring from the backup created at the beginning of the sync process:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes, go to Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Connect your phone, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears on the left sidebar in iTunes
Select Restore from backup, choosing your most recent backup to restore from
Disconnect your phone and confirm that your photos are back
Go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -
My Ipod classic stopped suddenly while playing on the dock. On checking it said connect to iTunes to restore and the battery had also exhausted itself. Did you purchase them on your iPad with the same Apple ID that you are using for iTunes on your iPhone and that iTunes on your Mac is sign into?

I am trying to load iTunes and keep getting a error 126 and reinstall program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and keep getting the same error message. How can this be resolved?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
