YES! This is really killing me and you're the only one to bring it up in discussions! I constantly have to turn it off and on to get it back to norm, and this other reply about clean wiping in/resetting it is just too much of a pain in the @#*. I don't have the apple warranty, but do have verizon as a carrier with insurance. I wonder if they'll have a clue as to what to do, or just default to the idiocy that is the norm. How long have you had your phone? Because if you've had it a long time, the battery in the phone might of died on you. Or have you dropped it in water, snow, from high up? All those things could of disconnected something internally in your phone, or permentaly damaged the internal hard drive its self, or the sims card.

one of my iPhone contacts messages go out as green, not blue, she has tried to turn off and then back on her messages, and it works fine for everyone but me. Mine go as green o her. My phone is iPhone 5, hers is the latest iPhone.

My iPhone 4S keeps on giving me an error message about my SIM Card. It either tells me invalid SIM or SIM Failure. The only way i can rectify this it to switch my phone off and then back on again, but this resolve only lasts for 10-15 Mins, and then the same error message appears. Any ideas on the best way to rectify my alleged SIM card issues?

I have been trying to download the movie Prometheus onto my Ipad. It sticks at 793mb and hasn't moved for hours. I have 48gb of space on my i-pad and have hard resetted and turned off and switched back on, always reconnecting with wi-fi immediately. It doesn't resume?

Any ideas??Well I have an update. I decided to stay as I was so far down the road. They gave me an engineer appointment of 14 of August which was totally disgusting.
I rang up to complain and was promised a call back as they tried to expediate my request. Never happened.
Whilst on these calls I also questioned the validity of sending another engineer unless they first checked that my local cabinet hard an available fibre port. I was promised and promised that they would put the notes on the call and it would not be a wasted engineer visit.
Engineer came today. Wasted visit - no ports on the cabinet.
He was not even sure why he was sent there knowing there were no ports. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
The incompetency of this corporation is absolutely astounding even when their customers are telling them they are going to fail they lie to your face just to appease you on the phone and move you on.
So I ordered my switch from sky to BT on June 6th.. and so far all I have is a phone line.
On top of this I noticed that they have charged me a late payment fee by DD and full line rental for first month. BT were so slow at installing it all that my up front line rental apparently did not cover their initialy switch over. Despite telling me I would not be charged I have been charged.
Now as a web designer I am now tempted to create basic website and use my SEO skills to push it to top of google rankings sharing with everyone of my experience of BT. -

Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone shuts down and let it restart.

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. Hello, if you havent tried the doesktop manager option, you can do it from the device aswell... Just make sure you save all your contacts to your SIM.
you can go into your Security Options (in Options menu) and select wipe handheld.

It's not normal.. It restarts the iphone when your open a specific application?? Try deleting the application and re-download the application again..

Frustratingly, since I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10, I too am having the worst problems with WiFi dropping out. I've never had this problem before on my iMac 27-inch mid 2011 model. Turning WiFi off and then back on again sometimes works. Help please. I've already tried a lot of your suggested fixes, but without success. Why hasn't Apple Fixed this?
Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Take the applicable steps in this support article. The Wireless Diagnostics program generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
Step 2
Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Step 3
If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. If you find that Wi-Fi works better with Bluetooth disabled, you should use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. Your router may not support it; in that case, you need a new router.
Step 4
Open the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences and unlock the settings, if necessary. Select the Power Adapter tab, if there is one. Uncheck the box marked
Wake for Wi-Fi network access
if it's checked.
Step 5
Open the Network pane in System Preferences and make a note of your settings in the Wi-Fi service. It may be helpful to take screenshots of the various tabs in the preference pane. If the preference pane is locked, unlock it by clicking the padlock icon and entering your administrator password. Delete Wi-Fi from the service list on the left by selecting it and clicking the minus-sign button at the bottom. Then recreate the service by clicking the plus-sign button and following the prompts.
Step 6
In the Wi-Fi settings, select
Advanced... ▹ TCP/IP ▹ Configure IPv6: Link-local
Click OK and then Apply.
Step 7
Reset the System Management Controller.
Step 8
Reset the PRAM.
Step 9
Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
Step 10
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service center. -

You may want to do a Restore on the shuffle in iTunes. The Restore button is on the shuffle's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the shuffle, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If it's a software or data corruption glitch, the Restore should fix it. After the Restore, reload or resync your songs, and try it again. As a test, you may want to initially select a small number of songs to put back on the shuffle.
