If you want to Restore the iPhone Firmware. Restart the computer, open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with the USB cable. Hold both the Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes the iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the Firmware.

You need to double click the Home button to get the camera button.

Just connected apple tv. Everything works perfectly but the screen is not in color. I have tried reversing the HDMI cable and changing the output in settings and restarting. The screen is still black and white. Any ideas of how to fix this?

I am having issues trying to start up with Mountain Lion on my 2010 Mac Mini. Here's the scenario:
1) After starting up, I get the usual gray screen with Apple logo.
2) After a few minutes, a darker gray screen scrolls down and in the middle of this is a black dialogue box with reversed (white) text. This text, in multiple languages, reads: "You need to restart your computer." Then it goes on to instruct on how to shut it down and restart it.
3) I follow this instruction, but get the same dialogue box over and over agin.
Any ideas?

Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
During startup, you’ll see a progress bar, and then the login screen, which appears even if you normally log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. How do I change the way the title/author appear and is there any way to remove pages on EPUBs?
Hi all--
I am having a really hard time--I am trying to transfer EPUBs from my Win 7 comp to my Nook Tablet. I bought a lot of books from several non-BN sites because they were lots cheaper and were also sold in bundles--but the site was messed up and sent the books in PDF form rather than EPUB. PDF files won't read like a regular book on my Nook Tablet, so my friend offered to convert them to EPUB for me.
Most of the books turned out fine, but some of them now have a few extra pages at the beginning before the cover image and the correct title and author are not displaying--it seems to instead show the filepath where the file was saved on m friend's computer (C:\My Computer/Documents and Settings...etc.)
So, what I would like to do is be able to edit the EPUB files so I can delete the extra pages at the beginning so the correct cover image will be displayed and to be able to change the file's data sp it will show (and be searchable by) the correct title and author.
I am new to all this, so I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you SO much for your help!!

P.S. Having the title and author show up correctly so they are searchable and appear in the correct place on my Nook Tablet is the top priority--correct cover pages would be nice aesthitically, but it is not that important.
****ALSO--does anyone know of an app or anything for the Nook Tablet that would allow PDF files to be read just like an EPUB/B&N=purchased book? Currently when I open a PDF, it shows the page in TINY print--you can use pinching to zoom in, but then the file enlarges so it is bigger than the screen, making it very hard to read. I can't figure out any way to enlarge the text but still fits the page like an EPUB does, so I'm wondering if there's an app that would do that--it's hard because you can't try apps before you buy them and I can't teel if they will work from the descriptions.For sideloaded content the nook pulls the metadata from ePub file itself. I would suggest looking at a program like Sigil or Calibre that will let you edit the metadata in the book to make it appear like you want.
For the PDF vs ePub - No, that's the way PDFs work (think of them as graphics, not text), wheres ePubs are Web Pages - so no you can't them to behave exactly alike without converting the files. -
Tried to update to ios6.1, but after that my ipad show s the connect to itunes and stuck there.
tried to upgrade my ipad from 6.0.1 to 6.1 yesterday, then got screen got stuck at connect to itunes pic. my itune is up to date.
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
What version of iWorks 09 in PAGES should I be running with Mtn Lion? I originally installed iWorks from a disk back in 2009 and thought I was keeping up with updates. Curerntly I have version 4.2 (1008) Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with changing the country for the iTunes Store on your iPhone. For this issue, I recommend signing out and back into the iTunes Store on your iPhone:
Sign in with a different Apple ID
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID.
If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your Apple ID now.
Tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple ID and Password and tap Sign In.

If the issue persists after signing out and back in, I recommend quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the iTunes Store app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

The Bluetooth low energy protocol is not backward compatible with classic Bluetooth protocol.
My iPhone 4s can not find my sonny in-dash player. However my iPhone 3GS does it. Very disappointed with this.

You are correct, Blue tooth low engergy, BTLE.(only) devices are not backward compatible with Classic bluetooth and cannot connect.
However the Apple 4S and above have Bluetooth 4.0 support.. Hardware wise it has bothClassic Bluetooth, like the 3GS, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no good reason why your 4s cannot communicate to your Sony in-dash player using the Classic bluetooth that resides in the 4S.
I know that this does not answer the why it does not work, but it should work. Do you have to somehow re-pair the new phone up to the player? Not knowing the model of the Sony it is hard to investigate.
And I hate to ask but are you sure that the Bluetooth radio is on in the phone?

Hi, I am having trouble getting an album to download. I have tried it on both my iPhone and laptop through iTunes but neither works. I am wondering if it could be the size of the album stopping it downloading (212 Tracks) Any Ideas?
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
Mac OS X: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
