It seems someone has stolen your daughters phone there is an application called FindMyiPhone if she had location services on and the thief hasn't disabled it you can possibly track the phone down. Sadly you cannot stop the thief from gaining access to her phone and personal information. Please report your phone stolen to your local police station and call Apple aswell, they can possibly put a lock on your phone aswell as put it into a carrier block which prevents the thief from calling anyone or putting a new sim card in it. -
After trying all the solutions suggested by the the people at apple on their web site regarding the error message The ipod"ipod" could not be restored. An unknown error has occured (1439). After try all 9 of the resolutions provived i'm still getting the same message and am no nearer to restoring my ipod? Any suggestions or is my Ipod screwed?

i have the apple tv2. I was working ok,with no problems but now will not see my library. I have all my films music etc.. on a extl hard drive and my itunes is set to that file.
its wireless connected via my Bt home hub
I have tried restore , i have moved it to a new location . as i said i can get youtube and go to the itunes store but will not see my media files .
tried unplugging router, unplugged the apple tv, no success.

my iphone 3 or 3gs got blocked when my mate was trying to get into it and blocked it and i unblocked it now im trying to activate it and it wont activate and ive tried to put diffrent sims in it and itunes keep saying theres no sim card in plz dissconect and connect again
sounds like the phone was previously jailbroken. It will never work again.

Over the past couple of months, my iPhone 3GS has had dead spots on the left side of the screen, preventing me from using the r, d and x keys, the number 4 and the semi colon and comma keys. Does anybody have any ideas on why this has happened or any ideas that I'll be able to fix this problem?
Just a note; I can't put my phone to sleep or turn off as my lock button isn't working, so I'm using the AssistiveTouch settings.

This has no impact on the ability to purchase a new iPhone... it simply means that the newer one will not be at a fully subsidized price.
You could always take it to Apple and do an Out of Warranty exchange (I'm assuming the device is out of warranty) for $149 US. -
I have been trying to download my copy of Mountain Lion for last 3 days and the download is stuck at 53.25mb. I tried all of the restart/ Cookies deletion that apple support staff recommended to no avail. Download starts from begining and once it's 53.25mb downloaded, the remaining time goes upto and beyond 650 days and counting.
Is there any guru, who can help me download Mountain Lion this year? Preferably in a days time !
Cheers!Doesn't strike me as a "high traffic" issue, if you pause the download can you open the /Applications/ folder on your Mac and see if the installer already present? If you can stop the download and delete the installer (because it is not finished), the try again?
If you've already done the above have you tried using Disk Utility First Aid from your Recovery HD?
Try to verify/repair the disk and see if that takes care of it. (Of course make sure you have a good, recent backup before trying this.)
If you're still having issues: re-install OS X from the Recovery HD, install all available software updates, try again. -
Flash plugin crashes a lot more frequently since I updated it (the past month or so??) I have tried the latest Firefox version 3 and updated it to version 4.
I have tried all the solutions given such as complete uninstalling or changing the integer to -1I'm not sure anyone here knows more about the Java plugin than you do...
Were you starting the control panel from disk as administrator because it didn't work starting it through the Start menu (if you have Control Panel set to View by Category, the Java control panel is under "Programs"). -
Been trying to restore Ipod touch for days after updating Itunes. Error code #9. Stuck on restore screen. Tried all the solutions posted. Tried on 2 computers, Vista + XP. No device shown on computer. Thanks Apple! Didn't have this problem before update. How about rolling back your update?

I have Adobe CS. Upgraded my computer to Windows 7. Installed CS but I can't activate Photoshop due to the online/phone activation being pulled down. Now the 30 days has expired. Tried to follow directions to install CS2 but no luck. I would really like to speak with someone at Adobe to get it working again. THanks

Reader X turns all desktop and menu icons into Abobe symbols.
Whan I download Adobe reader 10 on my laptop (Windows 7 OS), all my desktoop icons turn into Adobe symbols. Only way I can get rid of them is to delete the program. Very annoying, doesnt happen with flash player. Help!
