TS3694 Iphone could not be restored. Device could not be found
Iphone could not be restored. Device could not be found
Try making sure the iPhone is off, then try the following.
Hold down the sleep wake button until the Apple logo appears. While still holding down the sleep wake button, also hold down the home button. When the Apple logo disappears release the sleep wake button and continue holding down the home button for an additional 10 seconds. iTunes should recognize it again and restoring may work this time around. -
my ipod is saying it could not be restored, and it can't be found! could someone help me?
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reboot the computer
- Try another USB port and cable. -
HT201210 the device cannot be found when trying to restart apple tv by laptop and usb
Trying to restart Apple TV by using usb and laptop with windows vista via Itunes.
Get error message that "device cannot be found" after clicking the button "restart" as instructed. You can see the apple tv icon when it is connected but get the error message when you click the button to restore. Any suggestions? Screen is completely blank on TV and no menu whatsoever when the apple tv is connected via hd to TV. (Not a smart tv).See if this helps: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4488. Otherwise, you might want to post your question over in the Apple TV forum: https://discussions.apple.com/community/appletv/appletv?view=discussions (this is the iPhone forum).

HT201210 The Iphone"Iphone" could not be restore. An unkowned error occured (-1)
I just replace this Iphone 7 months ago. Now I lockout and cannot restored. This error message ocurred everytime "The Iphone "Iphone" could not be restored. An unknowned error occured (-1)". The vendor (M1 singaopre) said this is a hardware problem. This phone is "wasted" and wanted $350 to replace it. What a load of BS, to pay $350 to replace a replacement for damaged goods. Any good ideas ?
Error 1 or -1

Tried to run the iPhone update on my iPhone 4. After an interminable amount of time (4+ hours) the screen remained black. I unplugged it from the computer. Still black (as if off). I hit the round button twice, and got the USB > iTunes image on the screen. When I plugged it in, it said I had to restore it. (why??) So, I gave up and hit "restore." Two hours later, got an error message, "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I hit "more information" and went through the list of things to do, did them all. Then ran Restore again and got the same message.
Now what? Helpful info would be much appreciated.Same problem...Your iDevice needs a Service
