HT201210 when i try to restore it shows error 21. Why?
i had a problem with my phone it shows itunes and usb icon on the screen nothing else working. when i connect this to itunes on mac to restore. the pocess started, software been downloaded,been extracted,a message been shown preparing iphone for restore. after that an error occurred error no 21. can somebody explain me what should i do? please

This error typically occurs when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
I would try to Resore your iPhone on a different computer. Hopefully it will work, if Error 21 again, return to Apple. Error 21 is most often a bad error, since iPhone 4S has Warranty, make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Placing your iPod into recovery mode should allow you to successfully restore the device.
You might see these error messages if any of these are true:
Your device has a beta version of iOS.
You're trying to install an earlier version of iOS (downgrading).
Your device has unauthorized modifications to iOS, also called "jailbreaking."
Use recovery mode to restore your device to the latest version of iOS.

When i try to restore back to ios 6 my iphone 4 asks for login to gyazo website, is this correct?
1) I downloaded a free game app that works with Game Center...Run, Run, Chicken v.1.1
2) I opened the app, then closed it. When I opened it again, it asked me if I wanted to use an existing account or create a new account for Game Center. I chose to use an existing account.
3) I entered my e-mail address (in my case, my Apple ID) and password.
4) I had to verify the Location (country) and date of birth.
5) Then I went right to the terms and conditions page, and upon acceptance, I got to the Game Center set up. I completed the set up.
6) When I opened the Game Center app on my iPhone, I was able to get into Game Center without any sign in problems.

everytime i try to restore my ipod the first step is fine but then it just stops and says error. Is there any way i can stop this?

Try completely reseting the device back to the factory defult, then try to restore it again.

my ipod touch says plug it into itunes, so i do. then it doesnt recognize my device, then it says its in recoverey mode and needs to be restored, so i restore it and after i do a pop up comes up and says that an unknown error has occured and cannot be restored, what do i do?

Hi folks, just yesterday i can restore my iphone 4 that have a problem when i restore from itunes, when i do the restore from itnes, always showed me the following error:

what I did was this: just when I will finish the process, when the status bar is at the end in the firmware, only put the sim card and go back to take out, I do this like 4 or 5 times and the process restoration ends so well. This method I tried it 2 times and 2 times worked. I spent like 10 hours trying to restore iphone without results, until I started watching the logs and the key is when you are upgrading the firmware sends a command to answer yes. And I hope this helps.

Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.

Try to Restore on different computer with current iTunes. If still problem after Restore, then make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.
