HT201229 I just got a call from someone whom I had blocked. How did this happen?

With iOS 7 I created a contact title "Spam." I then blocked this contact. Anytime I get a call from a telemarketer, I add the number to this contact.
Just now, I got a call on my phone that came up from my spam contact. I thought this was impossible?
I have 8 different numbers assigned to the contact.
Anyone have any insight? Do I have to create an entry/contact for each number individually? If so, that would really suck and would fill up my address book with unwanted contacts.
This is an iPhone 5C on Verizon Version 7.1

You should report to the Do Not Call register and also your carrier.

Actually you can install Windows on your MBP via Bootcamp.
You should have kept the individual on the phone for as long as you can tolerate. The time he wastes with you is time he cannot spend scamming an innocent victim.
You can always politely ask the caller to hold while you 'answer the front door' or the like and just set down the phone and go about your business. The caller will eventually hang up.
But your analysis was 100% correct.

If they're gone from icloud.com, then they aren't in iCloud. You could try waiting a while to see if this was caused by a server glitch and they will reappear. You could also try contacting Apple support to see if there is anything they can do at their end: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.
Otherwise, you may be able to restore them by restoring your last iCloud backup. Doing this is a bit tricky, as you have to interrupt the restore process as soon as your phone restarts while restoring, either by putting it in airplane mode or pulling the internet connection to your router. If you don't, iCloud will overwrite and erase any restored calendars. Then you can disable iCloud calendar syncing and save the calendars to your phone, re-enable your wifi connection and let the restore process proceed, delete any existing calendars from icloud, and turn on icloud syncing on your phone again to upload the recover calendars to iCloud. This process is explained in this user tip from Winston Churchill: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. While this was written for contacts, just replace calendars for contacts and for the same instructions.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft but it seemed fishy

Today I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming they were from microsoft and that my computer was in critical condition. I can't recall microsoft ever calling people personally about this so it automatically seemed like a scam. I told
him I didn't believe it fairly quickly and hung up. So I wanted to know in case there really is something wrong, do microsoft people ever call customers to tell them of errors? Is this just a scam and in which case is there a way for me to report these people?

Its a scam. A well known and long running one. Microsoft will never ask for personal details (they already have them) and
will never cold call you. Nor do they send out anti virus messages
Microsoft does not do that nor do they have partners who do that

Just got the same call. It said Express Mastercard and that my account had been locked and to press 1 to speak with someone. At that point I hung up. My husband, whose number is one number off from mine had gotten the call an hour or so before me and didn't answer. We both blocked the number.

I got an Itunes card and when I loaded it itunes downloaded an album that I did not order; so my question is how did this happen and how do I find out how much this album costs cause I would like to get my money back.

My wife got me an iTunes card today and as soon as I redeemed it a music album that I did not order downloaded and deducted the cost from my iTunes card. I do not listen to the type of music that was downloaded and feel like I was robbed in a way cause the only way things are suppose to download is if I click on them and enter my password. My wife loaded her ITunes card right after I loaded mine and the album did not and still has not loaded onto her phone so we think it could be in my settings we are going to check into that but I did have money removed my account so thank you for the link to the form.

I sold my iPod and and before I sold it i went onto itunes and deleted everything back to its faculty setting just got a call from the person that bought it and it says its still signed into my account how do I delete it off of itunes without the ipod

In the phone settings, you can select which ways you will receive your iMessages. Settings - iMessage - Send and Receive I think.
As for Contacts, well, you have the same AppleID so your contacts in the cloud are the same. Were your contacts just on your phone before? Maybe hers were in the cloud and yours were only on your phone?
EDIT: if yours were only on your phone before, you can turn off the iCloud account in Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

So while i was gone i got a call from the name in the topic. 1) i don't think skype would call users to re-require users to reactivate their accounts. 2) I figure it's a possible scam to get my login details for skype.

I am locked out of my computer (macbook air) I just got it back from the apple store and they reset it. I put in a new password, and now it doesnt let me log in anymore. Command R doesnt work, all i hear is a sound, but nothing happens.

I put in a new password because i needed to start over from factory settings, but now it doesnt let me log in anymore. (I don't know if this is because it doesnt accpet my password, or I forgot my password in less than 5 minutes, or because when i typed in my new password, i typed it in wrong twice)
Command R doesnt work, all i hear is a sound, but nothing happens.

What I don't understand is why it is rejecting a password I am creating.
Perhaps the password you are creating is too short, or has characters that are not allowed, or is not secure enough because it is a word in a dictionary.
FileVault may have standards for what it considers an acceptable password. If the password is part of the 128-bit encryption scheme, it might have to be 16 characters, for example. (Don't know if that is true, but it's a possibility.) Check your documentation for password requirements.
