When I'm in iPhoto and want to share (email) pictures from there, I get a message that my stored user name & password combination is not recognized. How do I find out what's stored?

in the iPhoto preferences delete any mobileMe accounts - same in system preferences

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

If your Apple ID is disabled for security reasons, try resetting your password via the web using the steps in this article:

You may not be able to change your iCloud email address, but once your password is reset you can remove your iPhone from Find My iPhone using the steps in this article:

Event Viewer cannot open the event Log or Custom view. Verify that the Event log service is running or query is too long. The instance name passed was not recognized as valid by a WMI data provider(4201).

This error keeps cropping up now and again on most of our domain controllers (OS-2008 AND 2008R2)...Usually a restart fixes the issue however the issue repeats and security logs don't generate.
Any advice on how to fix this issue permanently would be greatly appreciated.

Did you go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in?

Iphone - wifi password is not recognized

hi,
I'm really going crazy with my iphone.
since a software update last week, my wifi connection at home is not working anymore.
I've tried everything described on the support side and things I found here in the forum, as
1. Tap Settings > WiFi > Other network
2. Enter the name of the network you are trying to log onto
3. Tap Security and tell the iPod what type of security the network is using
4. Tap Password and enter the network password
TRIED - PASSWORD NOT RECOGNIZED
If this still doesn't work, reset your network settings (tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings and try the steps above again once the iPhone restarts.

now, the iphone only finds my wifi and asks for the password and after typing it I always geht the info, that network connection failed...

Exchange and Mail: Password suddenly not recognized by server

Hello Everyone,
About one month ago my Exchange account stopped working with mail. I checked with my IT department and they told me that everything was normal on their end. Apple came out with a software update appr. 2 weeks ago I believe (10.9.1). After performing the update, my Exchange account worked again.
Fast forward to 3 days ago... again... for no apparent reason, my mail acccount starts asking me for my password again for the Exchange Account. When I enter it however, it doesn't work. I completely deleted the account and tried adding it again and got the following message:
"Internet accounts couldn't log in to the Exchange Server "email.xxx.com". Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then click continue."
I've tried time and time again with no luck. When I contacted my IT guy again this time, he told me that they had never done anything the first time to try to fix this issue!
I have an iPhone and an iPad and have absolutely no issues with Exchange and my portable devices.

I still haven't found a solution to this problem. I purchased Office for Mac with Outlook 2011 because my IT guy told me that there were lots of people using Macs and that they used this program. It worked for 3 days and then I encountered the exact same problem. See below.

The server for account "xxxxx" returned the error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?
I've asked my IT department and they have no idea what's going on. Apparently my IP address doesn't even show up on their servers. Can someone please help me?

I would restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod on your computer and start over. It appears the iPod is associated with another account. Any media that came with the iPod does not belong to you and di not transfer with the iPod hardware.

Admin password is not recognized in my daughters acct

Ive set up an accouont for my daughter and have set the parental controlls for the account. When we try to download a game or make any change she is prompted to enter an Admin username and password. This is where the problem is. I enter my username and password (it is the same form day one and has never been changed and I can actively use it to make changes when logged into my user/admin user.)and it will not accept it and will not allow me to make changes to her acct.

My daughters had the same problem with both of their iPod Touches. One logged back into iMessage and FaceTime, the other consistently would not with the same error, "An error occurred during activation. Try again."
Check your date and time. Its likely incorrect. Once the date is corrected. Restart the device.
For what ever reason, some devices lose track of the date. In my case, apparently, my daughters change the date to affect a particular game by advancing the date. Little cheaters. (LOL)

I believe the issue is with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the App. If you download an App that was purchased under a different Appple ID then all updates will also be linked to the original purchaser's Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the the same ID as your iTunes, iCloud, etc. Some folks use different ID for the different Apple sites. No need for that One ID for all Apple Sites, and if someone else buys an App using their ID and they(you) download that App onto your device and that App requires an update it will ask for the purchasers Apple ID. This happens a lot when folks sell their iPad or give it to someone else and leave some purchased(free) Apps on the iOS device. You cannot change the original ID the App was purchased under. A suggestion would be if someone else has an App that you like but do not want to pay for use their ID or in the future have them gift the App to you.

WVC80N User Name & Password No Longer Recognized

One of my two WVC80Ns no longer recognizes its user name and password so I cannot access settings. This seems to have happened after a power loss and re-start. The other camera is fine - its user name and password work fine, and I can access settings for it. I can't figure out how to reset the user name and password on the problem camera. I tried reinstalling but the reinstall fails. Any ideas please?

So the scenario that you explained that WVC80Ns no longer recognizes its user name and password ... So for that there will be a reset button on the back panel of the camera.... So press that reset button for 30 secs and power cycle the camera....
Check the IP address of the camera from the DHCP client table then try to access the setup... It will ask for the User name and password.... Put in the default password of the camera " admin "...
