How can I recover a deleted note from my iPad?

Maybe you didn't delete it but just somehow put it in the wrong category?

The Software Update pane of System Preferences won't show full version upgrades. If your Mac is compatible with Yosemite, you can either download it from the Mac App Store or order a download code for Mountain Lion from the online Apple Store.

Do you back up via computer or iCloud? If you backup via computer and you have not backed up over your last one with the pics, restore your latest backup.
I collected two methods to recover lost data from iOS devices:
Method 1: Restore from your iCloud backup
Restore from your iCloud backup, if you used iCloud to backup your phone, see iCloud: Backup and restore overview, or estore from a backup you made with iTunes on your mac or PC.
Method 2: recover with iPad Data Recovery software
Even the data was deleted from iPad, but it is still stored in the NAND flash drive, with iPad data recovery, uses can easily recover deleted photos on iPad 2.
    Hi friend,
The following is the procedure for solving the problem of restore deleted photos in iPad 2.
At first you have to go to home screen.
Then tap on to the menu screen.
    Now press the settings option.
There the option of 'iCloud' is to be selected.
After that the username and password are to be entered for logging into the account.
Then in order to restore the backup, you can press the backup option.
Now the backup is to be restored.
After that the device is to be restored.
    Thanks.

If the device has been used as designed, notes are synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.  Sync them back if they still exist.

  • Can I recover deleted notes

Is there anyway to recover deleted notes from anywhere?

Actually, no is a bit too short of an answer. There are two places where you may be able to find your notes. One is on your MAC or PC where you have Itunes. The files may have been transfered there. Or, you may be able to find a newly created folder in your email folders named, "Notes". That's where I found my notes that were deleted when I deleted my linked email account.

How does one recover deleted notes from a TimeMachine backup?
Digging around, I found that the Notes.app data is stored in the following folder:
    //Users/<user acct>/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes
However, I can't figure out how to access the Library folder in my TimeCapsule backups. Any ideas?
    Your feedback is appreciated.

It's been a while and I don't recall all the steps that the second tier Apple Care support technician made me go through. After we solved the issue, he contacted me by email and wanted to know whether I had used the Migration Assistant to move my data from my old MacBook Pro to the new one--which I had. They apparently thought that the Migration Assistant might have been responsible for the problems I ran into.
As I recall, he first had me sign out of my iCloud account and then delete the notes on my laptop. When I reactivated my iCloud subscription, all the notes synched and I no longer was getting duplicate notes as we had restricted the synching to the Notes iCloud account only. As I recall, I also had to disable the notes on my iPad and iPhone and then synch them re-activate only the iCloud account synching for notes.
I wish I could remember all the details, but I'm drawing a blank right now. Sorry...

  • Recover Deleted Note from Outlook 2010

I was on my phone the other day working on a note, when i accidentally deleted it! it took me a long time to make the note only to have it deleted, so i was wondering if there was a way to retrieve the note?
When looking for solutions it said mostly how to recover from Office 365, and if you have to pay for that, then i dont have it. neither do i have Share point because i do not know how to configure it. I was using an HTC HD7 windows phone that has Microsoft
OneNote Moblie version 14.5 and is Office 2011, I'm not sure if that helps. But please if anyone can help me out with this problem as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated! Im not familiar with too much technology so i can really use all the help
    i can get.
Entirely, my question is, is there a way to retrieve a deleted note at no cost? I deleted it from my phone and I'm scared ill never be able to retrieve it and the note was really important! Please anyone who can help please reply as soon as possible.
    Thank you!!

    Hi,
Which note did you deleted? The Note in Outlook or an OneNote notebook?
Which type of email account are you using?
If you mean the note in Outlook and you are using Exchange account, please check if you can find it in Deleted Items folder in your Outlook.
If you mean the notes in OneNote, please refer to this post and check if it helps:

How do I recover deleted notes from the cloud?

Please note that these instructions (suggestions) have not yet been confirmed to work. I have however provided similar instructions for recovering contacts, calendars etc, which have.
The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs.
Recovering your notes is quite time consuming, you may wish not to save all your notes to save some time, if they are not of importance.
Ensure the device is connected to your local network.
Start the restore from iCloud back up.
Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).
As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).
Wait for the time out confirmation.
Open the 'Notes' app, and open your first note (assuming your deleted notes have now been restored).
Select the share option at the foot of the screen (rectangle with arrow) and choose mail.
Send the email to yourself (If they won't send, save them to draft)
Repeat steps 7 & 8, until you have copied all the notes you wish to save to email.
Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.
Navigate to settings > iCloud and make sure 'Notes' syncing is enabled.
Open the 'Notes' app, check that iCloud notes have reverted to how they were before starting the restore.
Open the 'Mail' app and open the first email you sent yourself and copy the text you want in the note.
Open the 'Notes' app and create a new note in the iCloud, paste the text you copied.
Go to iCloud.com on a computer and check that the note has synced to iCloud.
Repeat steps 12, 13 & 14 until you have recovered all your notes.
May I suggest that you carry out a back up to iTunes before you try anything, that way should things become even worse, you can at least restore back to where you are now.

  • Can I recover deleted notes on my iPod if it's not backed up?

Earlier today, when typing on my iPod using the notes app, my iPod began to freeze up and in the process tried to email the note. I selected to delete the draft but when it returned me to the note it proceeded to erase my entire note, not delete it. In the end I was left with a blank note and no idea what happened.
Please! I need to know if I can recover this note! I do not have a backup because my computer has been having problems and I don't believe I have any online cloud account setup. Please help!

For the most part (there ARE exceptions), you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.

  • How do I recover deleted notes?

I know you can do it because I've done it before. Just not since the iOS 8 update. I had a few notes on my phone and

If you did the backup of your notes before deleting then you can easily get back those notes by the following steps:
    1. First don’t connect your iPad directly to computer because the iTunes only saves the most recent backup
    2. Now make sure that you have a valid backup as listed iTunes> preferences> devices
    3. Before connecting your iPad make sure to check iTunes>preferences> devices “prevent iPad from syncing automatically.” Because this will ensures we don’t erase the previously stored backup. Then select “OK” and close the window after checking “don’t sync”
    4. Now connect your iPad to your computer.
    5. Select the iPad as seen in the left bar of iTunes, as listed under the devices.
    6. Select version and click on restore from options.
    7. It takes a while to for iPad to erase itself, reset and restart.
    8. After the iPad is restart you will see Set Up Your iPad in iTunes on your computer, and now just click the restore from the backup and click continue. It will take 10 to 12 minutes to recover your deleted notes on iPad, photos, music, videos, etc.

  • Recovering Deleted Notes On Mac

I had some extremely important notes on the notes app on my mac. They've disappeared and I think I may have accidentally deleted them. Is there any way to recover a lost note? I'm synced to iCloud but I do not have a time machine back up. If they're gone I'm totally screwed.

    General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro.  Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.  Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk.  Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

  • How can i recover deleted notes from iphone ?

I deleted notes from my I phone 4, how can I recover that ?

    Hello ctgonzalez,
If your note is gone from iCloud.com there is only a few ways to possibly recover it.
The first things I would check is a iCloud Backup, a iTunes Backup, or a 3rd party email that may have contained the note. To restore from a iCloud or iTunes backup follow HT1766. This article explains how to restore a device from either back up.
Note if you have backed up since the note went missing, you will not have the note on the backup. Make sure you do not back up if trying to restore from a back up as this will back up the content without the note.
To get to the "Set up assistant" on an iOS device, you must go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. Once the phone restarts, you will be at the "Set up Assistant"
Gmail emails are very commmon sources for notes and you may have been adding them to the gmail notes without even knowing it.

I accidentally tapped the trash icon and it slipped away. Can I recover it?
I checked in "Mail" on my computer but deleted notes don't show up in either "Trash" or "deleted" folders.
