Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign ut and sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

my wife has a new iPad and iPad Store user ID. I have a seperate iTunes store user id and subscribe to iTunes Match. All my music is now in the "cloud". Can my wife get access to my music via match and still retain her iTunes store user id?
The only way I seem to be able to get Match to work on her iPad is if she uses both my iCloud user ID and my iStore user ID.Essentially I have the same problem. My spouse and I have a shared music collection on 1 computer. We've used different id's for our various devices for years. Currently we both use iPad minis iPhones and AppleTV. I have iTunes Match on my account. Recently we haven't been able to access songs bought or downloaded by the other id. iTunes says that the computer is associated with another id. In fact we have 1 song that didn't finish downloading when an album was bought on my spouses account while the rest of the album is there. My suspicion is that I will need to go down to a shared id when we buy our new MacBook Pro for Boxing Day. But, if we do that are we able to have separate calendars and passbooks and other features? Is there another option? I'm willing to stop using iTunes Match if necessary.

I have installed Yosemite and thereby Safari 8.0. The update 8.0.2 will not install. Nothing happens, just a short glimpse and I still have 8.0. Any ideas?

When I tried to update to OS6 on my iPad 2, it got as far as "Your iPad was updated successfully. There are just a few more steps to follow, and then you're done!" The Continue bar at the bottom turns blue momentarily, then back to white. Nothing happens. I powered off and back on, still nothing. When I use the "Home" button, it says "Setup incomplete" but won't continue. Any thoughts?
Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Never once has my phone updated without deleting everything. It says "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. I can't call for help because my phone is frozen on the screen with iTunes. On line live chat won't chat until I give them my serial number which I can't get to because its frozen and can't call for the same reason!! Omg! Someone please help me!?

Software updates sometimes do not install. I have two software updates that I continually show up as available to install. When I click on the install button it changes to installed. Checked About this Mac shows that the updates have not installed.

YouTube will not work on safari for me on the ipad. Is there anyway to fix this? I can go anywhere else on the internet fine and it works on google chrome, but on safari it shows a blank screen with the bar on top after it loads, if it's even loading at all.
I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

My mail is configured correctly. When I go to view my inbox I get the 'Load More Messages...' with the number of messages showing. I touch the display and nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the email account and restarted the device. I can send mail fine as well as view my sent messages. Very confusing.
I have two yahoo accounts and I know as they 'improved' their servers I had periodic outages. It'd work fine on my webmail on my computer, webmail on the iPad, but not via the mail app. And it was stuff on their end. It may be a case of wait and see and you may need to eventually remove/readd the account on your iPhone.
When the issue is on their end, unfortunately there's not much for users to do beyond wait it out or find work arounds. -
I got a new Ipad 2 and I am trying to get it work in vain. I have downloaded the iTunes on my PC, but even after executing the program nothing happens to the IPAD. I still get the image of the USB cable and the iTunes logo. What am I doing wrong?
You know that you have to connect the iPad to your PC with the cable that came with it - and then iTunes should start automatically and it will guide you through the set up process?
If you have already tried to connect the iPad - and you have launched iTunes - and you still have no luck - reboot your PC and then begin the process again. -
I just downloaded the new version of I tunes and I went to the I tunes store. It opened just fine and I was browsing the store. I saw a song I wanted to purchase but I decided to return to my library to make sure that I didn't already have that song. When I clicked on I tunes store to return to the store nothing happened. The store would not open. Now no matter what I do the I tunes store will not open. I don't know what to do about this problem. Please help. This is very frustrating.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

after backing up Verizon cloud my pictures are still showing "update pending" Why and what do I need to do?
Hi Christine! Thanks for the additional information, I do appreciate it! Your last backup was on January 11, 2015, and no issues I assume with this backup correct? My recommendation would be to first completely power off (till you see the "slide to power off") the phone to reset it. Then try the backup process again.
If that is not succesful, I would reset the application by deleting the application (press and hold till it shakes & press on the X in the corner) and then re-install it back to the phone. A quick question as well, I see you have the iPhone, are you also using the iCloud to backup your information? You can also go to Settings < iCloud < Backup < make sure iCloud backup is on/green < Backup Now. You'll need to be connected to Wi-Fi to backup properly.

I attempted to install the newest OS update to my Iphone 4 this morning and got an error message that it couldn't install. Since there my phone has been frozen on a screen illustrating the USB connection to Itunes. The phone will not restore after 3 attempts.
Any cures out there?You are in recovery mode. Restore it through iTunes on your computer.

I was updateing the software on my ipod through the wireless straight to the ipod and had to stop so held down both the power and the home buttons. Now the screen is frozen with the apple logo and the normal 'unfreeze' technique won't work. The computer does not recognise the ipod so will not charge or restore it. Is there anything that I can do myself?
Unplug it and let unit go dead. Then hold your Home button down and plug the USB power cord back in. iTunes should see it and then restore.

The only way I can carry on a search, is to click on Google, and that takes me to another screen, with a panel to type into, and that works fine.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.

I do not see a way to close one page. I may have 3or4 different pages up but I cannot close one page with out having to close fire fox entirely. I have to go back to your icon and start all over. Thanks Dave In Austin Texas
Set the pref <b>browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab</b> to false on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing the browser and make a close button appear if only one tab is open.
