    Make sure that your username and password are set in the outgoing mail servers setting.
    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

    Your wifi network is not working. Restart it. Delete your wifi settings for this network via System Preferences, Network, WiFi, Advanced. Reconfigure and try again.

    I can receive but can't send e-mail, my phone keeps asking me to set up a password for outgoing mail but I have done that and still nothing happens.

    try powering it off for a min and then power back on and see if it works.  If not take a look here

  • TS1630 can't hear through receiver but can hear clearly on speaker phone

    just bought the iphone 5 two weeks ago and all of a sudden i cannot hear through the receiver or hear the ring, but I can hear perfectly on speaker.  I took it to Apple and it seemed they fixed it but now it has done again.  Very frustrating because when i need to make calls i have to put it on speaker phone.  Any suggetions is greatly appreciated.  I have an appt. with apple again on saturday but i think i need a replacement.

  • IPhone 5: Cannot hear or speak on phone calls

    Hello,
    I've encountered a problem with my iPhone 5 which seems to coincide with the download of IOS 7. When making or receiving calls I cannot hear the person on the other line and they cannot hear me, the line is totally silent but the call has connected. The microphone and speakers work with everything else from videos to Siri; I also tried using Facetime voicecall to replicate using the top speaker and that works totally fine and the person on the end of the line can hear me fine. Anyone have any ideas what it might be?

  • Cannot make calls or receive calls. Good network coverage. All I get is static or dead air. I've tried restoring to factory settings. Rebooting ect. No luck. Any suggestions?

    i Am using an iPhone 6 plus. just bought it 10 days ago. I am unable to make or recieve calls. I either get static or dead air, the person on the other end cannot hear me or they only hear static.  I have tried hard rebooting the phone which did not work. I tried restoring the phone to factory settings no luck. I am out of ideas on how to fix the issue. I have excellent network coverage and am connected to wifi. Please help.

    problem: does not make/receive phone calls using the normal setting. Phone calls made/received connect but then goes to home screen automatically....
    anyone has the same problem or a remedy?!!! this is working on iphone version 2g, firmware 2.0

    Since this is a first generation iPhone, is your iPhone hacked to be unlocked for use with another provider than was intended for this iPhone?

  • Cannot send mails via IMAP but can receive mails

    Having Exchange 2010 SP2 on standalone box on W2K8R2-std sp1
    We enabled IMAP and POP3 for our user base who do not have Outlook or are facing issues with active sync. 
    mailbox gets configured however none of mails are sent via IMAP  they remain stuck in user outbox only.
    They can receive mails but can't send. we tried configuring same users on Outlook and activesync and it worked. 
    We were surprised with some mis-configuration at IMAP end but could't get to root of it. Any idea what could be an issue????
    for imap testing we tried Zimbra 7.2.3 on windows 7 pro, Windows Mail app in windows 8.1. IMAP in windows phone 8
    Have enabled IMAP and pop3 logging but couldn't interpret it.

    Based on my knowledge, POP3 and IMAP cannot be used to send messages.
    E-mail applications that use POP3 and IMAP4 to send messages rely on the SMTP protocol to send messages.
    The connector for receiving e-mail submissions from client applications that use POP3 or IMAP4 is created automatically on every Hub Transport server.
    We need a Send Connector.

    Settings>FaceTime...is it on? If so, try turning it off, wait ~30 seconds or so, then turn it back on.
