HT201263 I followed the article on connecting iPhone to iTunes and restoring iPhone, 8 hours later it comes up saying error connection lost???
My phone was disabled and needed connection to itunes. After following the restore instructions it didnt work? There was no change in internet connection or cable connection with the iPhone, it just came up with the error box after 8 very long hours of waiting! :/ i dont know what to do now?

If you have a really slow internet connection it could take a while, 8 hours is terrible though unless you're on dial-up or satellite.
If you have an Apple Retail Store near you, set up a Genius Bar appt and see if they can do the restore for you:

Hi All,
I tried to search through the community, but with the sheer volume of posts, I didn't find anything that seemed like the same issue.
My iPad 4 just started having issues with the volume. On either Bluetooth or the iPad Speaker, anything I'm watching or listening to drops the sound to just barely hearing it and then, about 2 seconds later, it comes back.
I haven't tried wired ear phones, but I am sure they'll be the same way.
It's very random, but consistent enough to happen several times per day.

I have restarted it and also did a Hard Reboot and it didn't help.

I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a used model with your specs in perfect condition. But yours is far from perfect. I think your high point is $250 which is why I said 50%. -
I've had the iPod for a few months and it worked great. For some reason it went into recovery mode but I have no clue. I've always used the laptop I have with the same wifi. As soon as I plugged by ipod into the computer to recharge the battery it went into recovery mode.

I tried to update my ipad through wifi and followed the steps. It says that update is complete however i must connect to itunes and restore the updates but itines says i dont have permission to do so. KIndly assist on the stages to follow. Screen is black ad i unable to work on it.

I just updated by iphone. I followed the instructions when it turned back on and now it's stuck at the iCloud terms and conditions screen.

Has your phone been jailbroken? If so, you will likely never get it to work again.
You can try placing your phone in DFU mode (search google) and restoring. -

When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

you will need to do a hard wipe or remember the password hard wipe can be found on youtube how to. but this will erase all data

i tried to follow the steps in recovery mode but itunes still can't detect it.
Ok ok. It did work the first time, however the phone got disconnected so then the phone turned itself on again.
I tried to repeat the same steps again but it did not show the itunes logo. It just turned on and went to the lock screen.
I did this for about 4-5 times. Each trial ending up with the same result.
So what i did, once the phone was connected to itunes i clicked the update button and waited for HOURS to finish the update.
It did restart and did whole other things. But it stopped and a black screen appeared with a text saying Iphone is disabled. Connect to iTunes.
Any suggestions on what to do next? I'm seriously feeling so frustrated right now.
So in case you didn't get it my phone was disabled after entering the wrong password too many times. Tried fixing it but it seemed to get worse.

my ipod feel and now everytime i connect it 2 my computer i get the n/a on my desktop n when i go to restory it ... it say error 28 n the screen is black but when i do the recovorey steps the screen still looks the same so i dnt think it a black screen so idk if the fireware is messed up or what n idk if it broking or what n if ipod store will take it n give me a new 1

First see if placing the iPod in Recovery Mode will allow a restore.
Next try DFU mode and restore.
