I am unable to access settings or passcode locks or even self destruct which is looking quite appealing.
IOS7 update leaves my Ipad2 asking for a passcode which I have never used.
Aaarrgghh
I was hoping that some bigwig who decided to throw this update into the mix might have figured out what happened.
I started at 0000 , 1234, 3333 ,9999 nothing except this Ipad is disabled.
............ a bit like IOS7!

I am unable to turn off/on - Message "iCloud Backup unable to access account" unable to access settings. Totally locked up. Please help
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

When booting up I cannot get past the light blue logo with spinning disc. I have tried it with the install disc and using different keystrokes, i.e. "shift, s, c, o, " please advise. thank you in advance.
The system on the original install dic is probably looking for the original video card.
It may be possible for someone with the right skills to make an install disc for you with the driver for your new card.
As I recall from my early days of being a Macuser, If you held down a key, (spacebar?), while starting it would open a dialog to take you through a monitor setup. -
I have a issue with my mac book pro. For some reason it won't stay powered on. I can't get past the apple loading logo. The battery is fully charged so it is not the problem. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be and how can i get it resolved?

Trying to update iPhone. Cannot get past the point where I accept iCloud conditions etc. There is no way to continue. What can I do. I can´t use my phone
When registering the phone, you should be able to choose later or basically not now at the upper right hand side. Most of what I think it will at least have you do is sign into your Apple ID but thats it.

I have downloaded an updated version of iCloud but cannot get past the Terms and Conditions pages, notwithstanding accepting them. Further, I cannot get back into iTunes.
Since I do not know what you actually did maybe:
http://syncor.blogspot.com/2013/09/ios7-and-missing-agree-button.html
Otherwise:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iCloud and delete the account from the iPod and then sign back in.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. -
I am trying to log on to an old laptop and I cannot get past the password screen - I'm using the password I always used and it is not working. Even the clue doesn't help. Is there anything I can do. The last time it was turned on the apple staff transferred data to my new laptop. Help
If the old Macbook(?) has Snow Leopard 10.6 installed, and you have that retail install disc or the system disc of the current (base level) system on it, you could use the installer disc as a boot volume and use the utilities on the booted install disc to reset the password. It should be a menu option in the booted Install disc, way short of any effort to re-install anything. And if your computer can do this, the same DVD has Disk Utility, to check/repair the Mac HDD.
What OS X version do you have, & what MacBook, etc is that?
Good luck & happy computing! -
I have a new Macbook pro, I cannot get past the country selection screen. 'Continue' is greyed out and keys just make error sounds. How do I move it on?

I have the same problem. What did you do last time?
What should I do now? Its around 40 miles away the apple store? Would they pay my taxi fare to go and return?
How can we trust this apple product?
You are still under warranty. Call Apple Care. -

I reset the passcode on the iMac, but I cannot retore the iPad because it wants the passcode entered. It does not recognize the passcode was set on the iMac and instead displays: "Find My iPad must be turned off before "<iPad name>" can be restored. Go to iCloud Settings on your iPad and turn off Find My iPad before restoring your iPad." I'm chasing my tail with this because I cannot get on the iPad iCloud Settings to turn off Find My iPad. I'm running iOS 7.1 and the iPad is backed up and synced to the iMac. What can I do?
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
I have tried to do a hard reboot and restore several times to my ipod touch. I cannot get beyond the white screen. Any suggestions>
If you successfully restored the iPod to factory settings/new iPod (went through all the steps without errors), then time for an appointment a the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

On the Update Apple ID screen to use ICloud, I get a red message that email address is already being used. It does not accept my email address? I do not understand what the screen is asking me. Is this because I am using the apple ID on a netbook for this note or what.
Is there a way to bypass this screen if I don't want to use ICloud? I don't want to screw up the original setup of my imac. If I could get to the desktop, then I would know what OS and programs are in my machine.Hi, hopefully you've called Apple on this... you have 90 days free phone support.
