First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Afternoon. My iPhone 4S got stuck on the apple logo with the progress bar! but every time after I restore the 4S the progress bar starts again and stops at different stages of the loading process! Can anyone help with this please?
All this started happening after I tried to download the lastest update (iOS 7.1). The 4S went and got stuck on the apple logo and progress bar!!

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo. If you cannot get the device to reboot for you to see your content, you will have to try to restore it via iTunes. See this support document for help with that.http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
You may not be able to back it up if you cannot get it to stay on.

So, I dropped my iphone into a river and picked it up very quickly, turned it out and put it in rice, after some hours I saw it was on with a blueish screen so I turned it off again and put it back in the rice, then after 6 hours in total from when it fell in the water I charge it and see the start up apple logo but then small text appears in the upper corner and it goes out again, this happened now twice, what is this and what to do?

Try the method of putting it in a bowl of rice. If the issue remains then you would need a replacement.

MacBook Pro stops responding to the Apple Remote

Rather often, my MacBook Pro (17", 2010) stops responding to the Apple Remote.
It can happen after an hour of use, or after five minutes, it is not a consistent thing.
This has happened from the beginning, but sometime around 10.6.6 it seemed to be fixed.
Alas, it has returned when I upgraded to 10.6.7.
I have filed it as a bug, but I haven't seen any other mention of this problem.
When it happens, I can "fix" it by "disabling" the remote and the "reenabling" it (under System Preferences->Security, check and again uncheck the box that says "Disable remote control infrared receiver"). A notoriously abnormal side effect of this bug is that the first click in this checkbox also sends the System Preferences application to the background; I have to then bring it to the foreground again to click a second time to uncheck the box.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Turn the iPad over and give it a very HARD slap on the back. May take several slaps.
