try a reset, hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Plug your iPhone into the wall charger (not a computer), and hold down the sleep/wake button ('power button' on top) and the home button for 20-30 seconds. I find this helped when it happened to my phone once. Plugging it into the wall charger appeared to give it the juice I needed to get up and running again...

If charged, have you tried resetting your iPad?

Plug it into the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it plugged in for 20 minutes. Then while still plugged in reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say it's probably user error.

IMovie 6 was working fine and now it won't import.

I have started importing my vhs home movies and everything was almost fine and now it won't import at all. imovie stops at times. Sometimes when a tape was being imported I wouldn't get audio even with moving the volume bar but the audio was there with playback in imovie. I import a few clips, edit the starts and stops and share them with Quicktime. After I have them saved in Quicktime I copy them to an external hard drive and trash the originals. At times I can save them on the external without first saving them on the main hard drive and sometimes I can rename the clips. All of the problems mentioned above are just annoying ones but now.... I open imovie and select a new project, the imovie screen is light blue and it says that the camera is connected. In just a few seconds the screen turns a darker blue which then changes to the video I want to import with out the audio. When I click on "import" nothing happens.. no clip starts or anything. How do I get imovie working again?

I did what you said to do.. remove preference and repair permissions.. and imovie is still doing the same thing. I also deleted a preference named com.apple.IMovie.plist.saved. When I started having the import problem earlier I had checked the disk and repaired the permissions.
After I did what you said and IMovie was still not working I shut down the computer and took out the battery hoping that would work, but that didn't work either. Do you think it will work if somehow I uninstall IMovie and all things connected to it and reinstalled from the install dvd that came with the computer?

Replace it - it is almost certainly ruined beyond recovery at this point. You had a slim chance at best - had you left it turned off, never tried to charge it, and placed it in uncooked rice for 5-7 days it might have worked (although honestly, not likely).
For future reference, water and energized electrical circuits will mean disaster as the electronics will short out. Never power on a wet device, and never connect it to an external power source (if it has a removable battery, immediately disconnect and remove the battery as well).
Now, it is has to have been shorted out beyond any hope of recovery.

Siri was working fine but now is not.

Have had my phone about two weeks. Siri was working fine last night. This morning it is not Trying to use it to do an email - the microphone lights up and it appears as if it is recording - the little dots appear - but it does not write out what I said. My iPod 5th gen was working fine and now it won't turn on.

This morning I was listening to music on it and everything, it was working absolutely fine and went to take a shower, so I locked it. When I came back, it would not respond at all. Like it is on the off screen, with nothing on it. I bought it off a friend and the home button is stuck, so I can't put it in recovery mode, and I was going to download a client to do it on a computer, but my personal laptop does not recognize it (it doesn't even come up on the computer usb port thing and it doesn't charge when I plug it into the wall). I just recently purchased the charger (literally in the last week) so I do not believe it is the charger because it was charging fine all night. Also it was at full charge when I went to shower so I honestly have no idea what to do. I looked up solutions but I am unable to do anything when my computer can't even recognize it. Somebody please help me, or at least tell me I'm screwed so I can stop worrying about it This iPod is important to me and I have a lot of valuable data on it so I will be very dissapointed if I cannot continue to use it.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have an HP 3050A wireless printer that was working fine and now all of a sudden it doesn't print.

My HP 3050A wireless printer has stopped printing. I have restarted both my computer and the printer and it still didn't work. I deleted the printer from my printer list and then restarted everything again and now it doesn't even find the printer. What am I doing wrong? My computer is a new Mac. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Can you see the wireless light on the printer as Solid blue or is the lighe blinking?
If the light blinks, it means that the printer has disconnected from the network.
In order to reconfigure it - temporary connect the printer with USB, launch the HP Setup Assistsant (Located under Applications > Hewlett-Packard > Device Utilities) and follow the steps to reconfigure the wireless connection.

Audigy 2 ZS Gamer was working fine, and now it sounds really distort

Yesterday I was playing Doom3 and wow does it ever sound nice I had the EAX 4 enabled since it's been available for Doom3. Now today I'm not sure wtf is going on, listening to anything with my headphones which I always use by the way sounds like crap, muffled and garbled all the sounds are very wrong, like I'm tuning into an AM station but not exactly tuned right on. I did a clean uninstall of the Creative drivers and a new install and it still sounds like crap, nothing in my computer has changed, I'm fully updated with all the drivers, could it be dust or is my card dieing?? Please help.

You will need to reply to this post with more details in a fashion that people can see what troubleshooting you have performed so far.
Also please make a note of the way you have it setup in the mixer etc, do you have a volume control on the headphones? Are you volume levels way to high through the properties area? Does it sound the same through the speakers as it does the headphones?

Wow, that's crazy! I'm so sorry to hear. I actually had requested
several times to have my insurance cancelled because it never covered any
of the issues I've had in the past. When I amended my plan a few months ago
they must have reactivated it. Nowhere on my digital bill was the insurance
listed so I had no idea I was even paying for it. I'd normally be livid
but, it actually worked in my favor.
I would for sure check into your legal options. For now I suggest getting a
cheap refurbished phone until you are due for an upgrade. Don't commit to
their payment plan that you will be paying well after you are qualify for
an upgrade. If I thought any of the other cell phone carriers weren't just
as bad in some way or another I would switch but, I honestly don't know
anyone who's not getting screwed in some way. This is definitely some next
level bull, though. Now I know why no one from Verizon has commented in
on this thread.

ok yesterday i got an account with google mail and was able to send emails from the iphone and recive them and today this is what is happernning when you press the mail button on the iphone a blue box comes up and in it says COULD NOT ACTIVATE EDGE:PDP AUTHENTICATION FAILURE then when you press ok this comes up in a blue box THE CONNECTION TO THE SERVER "POP.GMAIL.COM" FAILED IF ANYONE CAN HELP THIS WOULD BE MOST HELPFULL MANY THANKS

Hi, I downloaded the software update and also had the same problem. But I found the fix. After sleeping on the problem I realized that I've had the same problem with other Wi-Fi devices. My devices weren't recognizing my wi-fi connection.
Well, anyway, all you have to do is unplug your wi-fi router for a few seconds and when you plug it back in it'll reacquiant itself with your iPhone and you're all good.
I hope this helps alot of people out there. I'll be posting this on other postings about this problem.
