i press erase all settings and contents, the loading circle is only appeared and waited for almost 48 hours. i wonder what i have to do since my lock button is no longer useful?.any help?
the lock button is barely responding since my phone had a several damage before. do u think this loading circle will stop after all the data is erased?

I have my catalog "Back Up Each Time Lightroom Exits" checked, and always have. That means the catalog should have been backed-up and saved everyday, if not more than once on some dates. So with a a major problem now and needing to use the Catalog backup from last Friday, I go to my Lightroom Backups folder - and the most recent one showing not only isn't yesterday, it's OCTOBER 28 !?? Where the hell are the daily backups between October 28 and November 14?

After getting home from a 30-day trip to Europe, I had changed the location of my LR catalog back-ups to an external drive, and forgot that I did that. I have found them, and all is good. I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -
Had to reinstall iTunes,backed up iPhone5 before the reinstall and need to restore the iPhone backup that is on the computer,Windows8, but it is not an option in the new iTunes restore menu. How do I map or add the old backup to the new iTunes restore option?

I am using a web application that requires the use of the F7 key. Actually, to be more precise, I need the functionality that you would get on a PC if you hit Ctrl-F7 while in this web application in Firefox. I have changed the Mac's settings to allow standard use of the function keys (rather things like volume up/down, etc.) However, when I try to use Ctrl-F7 it appears to be using the function that is built into Firefox browser rather than the web application running within Firefox. (FYI, nothing happens when I try Cmd-F7 or Alt/Option-F7 either).

I have to use the Keypad a lot when making calls. Make the call, the Robot then asks to enter a number for a service, pull the phone down from the ear, the screen may light up for a second, but then the screen saver cuts in, blanking the screen out. Sometimes you hit the Home Key to awaken the sccreen, enter your number and then back to the ear to hear the next set of instructions. Back and forth just trying to enter the options is a pain. Sometimes even trying to end the call, the screen blanks out and you fight to try and end a call.
If I use the Speaker function the keypad works; the speakler phone is not alway appropriate.
It appears that the phone gyro, doesn't detect the phone has moved from the ear to the viewing angle. This wasn't an issue until recently and I can't remeber if it's the iPhone 5 or one of the updates. It definitly wasn't there earlier on, as I threw away an Windows 6.5 phone for the same problem.
I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software (design) issue.It is not the gyro. This has everything to do with the iPhone's prioximity sensor.
Are you using a case that may be blocking or partially blocking the proximity sensor? If you are using the case, remove the case prior to the next call to see if the same occurs without the case. -
Women User's Issues: Acrylic nails and inability to use the iPhone
OK, I know that this may seem to be a trivial issue at first glance. However, did no one at Apple actually have women who wear artificial nails (AKA acrylic nails) Beta-test the iPhone's touch screen?
My girlfriend wears them. Her current phone has to be replaced, so I walked her into an Apple store and had a salesman demo the iPhone. My sweety loved 95% of its capabilities and features - it lacked only a voice-activated dialing feature.
Here's the reason she did not purchase an iPhone on the spot: You have to use your fingers to use it! Women with long, natural nails, and in this case, artificial nails can't make skin contact with the screen. Forget trying to type in an email or text message. The salesman obviously had never encountered this particular end-user "bug" and had no work around. My girlfriend spent a half-hour fumbling around, using her knuckles, the sides of her fingers, etc. and finally the salesman threw up his hands and said that he had to go help other customers. Gee, thanks for the help buddy.
Since the iPhone can't be used with a stylus, what's the work around? And no, my girlfriend, and all of the other women who wear artificial nails are NOT going to stop wearing them. Only a techno-geek would suggest that as a viable alternative.

I have seen two suggestions on these discussions, holding your hand at a flatter angle so that the pads at the end of the finger touch.

If the phone is displaying ICCID unknown, then it's a brick. That's a critical failure, usually caused by jailbreaking/hacking. It can not be fixed. -

Its possible the original owner had an unlocked phone. he was using with GCI. Or that GCI doesn't actually have locked phones. Seeing as they don't even have their own infrastructure but instead use AT&T's I doubt they'd have iPhones specifically locked to them and that would be the reason they do not offer unlocking (because there's nothing for them to unlock). And just to clarify, I'm not saying for a fact its not locked to them. It very well maybe be, but without knowing more about the phone and going by the fact GCI uses AT&T infrastrucure its possible its not locked. But here's no way to say for sure either way.
Trying a Sim card from AT&T or another carrier might just help the OP if its actually unlocked or locked to AT&T rather than GCI. -
after clicking "yes" to the question "do you want to update itunes now", i waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and it was still "loading". i turned computer off thinking something was wrong. now itunes won't open at all. do i need to download itunes again?
Did you actually download the installer from Apple or did you use Software Update. You can download the installer http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would consider repairing permissions first using Disk Utility because something caused this to go wrong the first time. And of course make a backup of your whole library first. It shouldn't happen but some have complained about their libraries being wiped out by iTunes updates. Better safe... -
We have 30 ipads at our school and it is great. We are about 850 student on my school and everyone are using the ipads. One hour at the time. (we have a booking system.)
I teach music and are using Garageband. I need to find away were my students that are working on a project can export the files and save them somewhere, so when they 7 days later open Garage band can import there song with all the correct midi-tracks. When I export the song to Icloud the song become an Mp4 file (I think). And I can import the files via Icloude.
This is because too many times the song has been sabotages during the week

your students could store their projects in iCloud, only you would continously have to change the AppleIDs of the iPads, so each student could store the songs with their own AppleID. I don't think this will be feasable.
The other possibility would be to share the projects to iTunes and to download them to iTunes on a Mac at the end of each lesson. Does your school have Macs? This will not work with PCs.

AT this point whatever data you have on yoru phone is already gone since it is in recovery mode.
However you can restore from your backup, when your phone reboots from recovery.
