Remove Office 2008 for Mac using Microsoft deinstall procedure. Reinstall Office 2008 for Mac. If there are updates, apply them. Using Disk Utility, verify/repair permissions on your boot drive.
Does Office for Mac 2008 now work correctly? If not, you may want to repeat the above first sentence, and then update to Office for Mac 2011, and apply the latest (14.4.8) update which has Yosemite fixes.

Have you tried a reset To see if that fixes it ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Cannot use Enter Persons Form because Human Resources fully installed

I have recently installed 11.5.10 (using RapidInstall, with the sample Vision database). A problem I encounter is that when I try to enter an employee, an error pops up:
APP-PAY-06041: You cannot use the Enter Person Form because Human Resources is fully installed. Instead, use the Human Resources People Form.
Since I don't need the HR module, how can I disable/uninstall/remove it?
Any help or pointers to any user guides will be appreciated.

Uninstalling Human Resources is simply not possible.
you can try to trick the system by setting HR back to Shared install. One single update can do that. Do not try this at home.
If that is not enough, you can do a minimal implementation of HR, so that the full install people form works correctly, and so bypassing the shared people form in finance.

Cannot use GET_FILE_NAME in Form Server

Hi,
I'm writing webform using form60 running on application server (IAS9i ), and I have some problems. Is there anyone can help me ?
1. I cannot use built-in function GET_FILE_NAME on webform. Why and what function can I use instead ?
2. I'd like to get data from text file which in PC harddisk (not from application server) using form60, how can I do ? (if running on client/server I use built-in package TEXT_IO)

In answer to your question 2. Any i/o on the client side, could be done thraugh a Java Bean. Text_io, will try to open/write a file in the application server.

I cannot install updates on my macbook and itunes no longer works.

I have a macbook that is 3-4 years old. Recently it stopped booting up at all, however was able to restore using original discs. However, my itunes doesn't work and I cannot install any updates at all. I can download the updates from apple, however, once finished it won't install. The installer utility pops up onthe task bar for about 1 second then disappears. I get no error messages or anything. Same thing for when I try to open itunes...the icon bounces once on the taskbar, but nothing opens. Nothing happens. I think the hard drive may be going bad. Can anybody help me with this? Model info below...

If that was the only machine you've installed it on, just throw the disks in the new machine and install away. All of Adobe's CS and CC software licensing allows you to have it installed on two machines.
If it's older CS software, you would need to install it on the same kind of OS (Mac or PC), but CC software doesn't have that limitation. If you're a CC subscriber, just download the CC Desktop App and install from there no matter which OS you have.
If you get a "Maximum Activations Reached" error, you'll need to call Adobe to have them clear that issue up if the old computer is completely un-salvageable. If you can still fire it up, just open DW on the old machine and choose Help > Deactivate before installing on the new machine.

Using Cloud on 3 devices

The CC licence allows 2 devices per account - does that mean two simultaneously, or just two full stop?
Basically, I have an iMac at home, a MacBook Pro for on the road and a Mac Pro in the office. Can I use my CC licence across all 3 devices (by deactivating one to activate another), or are there restrictions, such as not being able to activate a third device for 24 hours etc?

You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each and use one at a time its not to use simultaneously.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.
If you regularly need to use the Creative Cloud on more than two computers then it would be best to purchase an additional subscription. This is the same licensing btw which we have for our prepetual product. An advantage though for Creative Cloud over the prepetural product is that you can install on Mac and Windows with the same subscription!

I have contacted Genuis Bar and they restored my iphone to the factory setting and all of my old apps which I had on my machine are also gone. They did an icloud backup restore but that also does not allow any apples to be added to my Apple device - Iphone.

When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:
"This message means that someone tried and failed to sign in to your account multiple times. The Apple ID system disables the account to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to your information. You need to reset your password, following the instructions at the Apple ID website".
Visit iForgot.com and follow the instructions there.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

I downloaded i-tunes 8.1 and all I get is announcement for Cloud 10.1, although I can bring up my account, etc. Am unable to access store. I cannot use cloud because my i-mac and mac pro laptop are both G 3. The laptop is intel, the i-mac is not.

32L6353 LED tv - cannot use Cloud features due to demo mode

I have just bought a 32L6353 TV. When trying to access Cloud features, I get the error message "This function is not available in demo mode. Please connect your tv to the internet."
I am UK based and have tried both wireless and wired internet connection. Network test was successful with both. I have tried multiple resets.
Please help before I lose patience and return the TV.

As reported by other user, the reset should help to solve this issue.
You would get an list of questions from Toshiba service which are needed to improve the service. You have to accept this and then you should be able to connect to cloud TV
