HT201269 How do I delete everything off iPhone without wiping out my iPad
I'm returning my iPhone today and want to delete my info. But everything I delete on iPhone deletes my iPad also. How do I save my iPad from this process?
Turn off iMessage and facetime. Then Settings>General>Resets>Erase All Content and Settings. (on the phone of course)

how do i delete everything off my iphone 6 before i send it off to get repaired after water damage and can't use it
If it does not respond when plugged to a computer running the latest version of iTunes, then it is indeed dead and no content will be recoverable.

How do I delete email from iPhone without deleting them from my Mac
How do I delete email from iPhone without deleting them from my Mac?
To remove a photo from iPhoto and your Mac:
Put it in the iPhoto Trash, then enpty it. Then empty the system trash as well
If you want to remove a photo from iPhoto but keep it on your Mac:
First Export the file from iPhoto (File -> Export) to whereever you want it and then go through the steps above.
Confusion arises as the notion that you would want to remove a pic from iPhoto but keep it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's like saying I want to remove one address from Address Book, but still keep it on my Mac. The point of iPhoto and such apps is that they are used to manage your photos. Anything that you need to do with the pics cn be done either with or via iPhoto. -
My iphone4s was last backed up in november and I am trying to back it up with all of my current data. I do not have enough storage to back everything up so I would like to delete the existing data on my icloud and replace it with all my recent data. How do I delete old data off of my icloud account?
The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well. Tap Show All Apps to get the complete list of apps and MB used for backup storage.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

Delete Everything on Iphone without itunes ?
HELP, Is it possible to delete everything and reset my iphone 2.0 without using itunes. If I click restore on itunes, it wants to install 2.0.1 which I dont want.
How is this possible.
Thanks! If you just want to clear it off settings/general/reset - erase all content and settings. Although I can't think of any reason NOT to install 2.0.1; it's a lot more stable than 2.0. Unless the phone is jailbroken, of course.

Restore that backup you made?
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That might switch the assocation of the device to the new machine but I couldn't say for sure.
