recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not phone
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

After updating to OS X Mountain Lion, there is a password locked pdf document in the Downloads Stack. Does anyone know what password is required to access this file?
Hello, if your install disk is locked (I assume with FileVault) there is no way to change the password. If it weren't locked there were at least two solutions. As far as I know, the only solutions now are:
- contact your dad
- erase and reinstall the OS X clean

Light is flashing continueously on the front of the apple tv. No picture and no sound. Does anyone know what is wrong? Everything is plug in correctly. When I disconnect everything and re plug it in the apple icon comes up, but then blank screen with no sound and no picture. Does anyone know what is wrong?

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device) -
My Iphone 5 does this weird thing where it just freezes, some random vertical lines show up, and shuts off. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Porting an InDesign Plugin from InDesign CC to InDesign CC 2014 the plugin complies successfully with the InDesign CC 2014 SDK but at run time presents this error and is disabled. Does anyone know what might be the issue?

Adobe InDesign cannot load the FastFractions.InDesignPlugin plug-in. The FastFractions.InDesignPlugin plug-in requires the 9.0 version of InDesign. Please contact the vendor to get a compatible version of FastFractions.InDesignPlugin.
Show this alert again?As already told this means that the plugin has not been ported correctly. Some part of it for ex InDesign libraries or frameworks are being referenced from the CC sdk instead of the CC2014 sdk. To troubleshoot it i would advise you to rename the folder containing the CC sdk on your machine and then compile the project, it will fail to compile and you will get to know straightaway what aspects of the ported project are still accessing the old sdk. Fix the errors and your plugin will load fine.

I got an iTunes gift card for christmas so I decided to buy some songs today. I believe it was 21 songs. Anyway, i connected my phone to iTunes after the songs were purchased, and lo and behold, the songs are gone. They are not on my phone, they are not in my library, and they are not on my computer anywhere. Does anyone have any tips or answers on how to get the songs back? Thanks.
If this helps any of you, I solved my own problem. After some searching around, I discovered that you can go into your purchase history throught the iTunes store. You simply click on iTunes store, and on the right side by the redeem button, there is a purchased option. Click that, then click the little cloud button next to the songs you wish to download.

My iPhone 4s shuts down at least once a day, usually after I used it or when I'm not using it at all. It will not turn back on unless I reset it (by pressing home/power buttons) and when it turns back on, it runs like nothing happened. I have tried everything I can think of, update iPhone software, iTunes software, troubleshoot on Apple's Support page and reading other user's issues but I haven't seen anything similar. I erased and restore factory settings several times, made different backup attempts and even restored from recovery mode with iTunes. Everything goes great, no error message or anything unusual, until phone is off again, very frustrating. It doesn't seem to have a pattern to it, it happened when no apps were running as well as when a few apps were. The only thing I can think of is I haven't seen this happening when charger cable is plugged it. I don't really care about apps and content on the phone, but my contacts and voicemails are the only reason why I absolutely have to restore from backup, even after setting up a new phone, from iTunes. Other than that phone is brand new, battery is also great, nothing wrong with it (apparently).

Hi All, I have a Panasonic SDR-H250GN recorder which I have always used in imovie.
I taped for 6 hours, which became 6 chapters. 5 downloaded, the sixth keeps stopping at 1:01 minutes, imovie stops responding.
It taped to full capacity.

Perhaps there's remnants of that App you're not aware of... what was it?
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

Buy a new drive and replace the old one. While the old one is still working (if it is) I would quickly make a bootable backup to an external drive if you have one, assuming you have no extant backup.
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
Select the destination volume from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.
You will find suitable replacement drives at OWC.
They may also have a video tutorial. Or you may find a written tutorial at ifixit.com. Also may find one by Googling for it. -

Guys, I have a table called ENTITY_VOLUME, which has about 8 partitions. Periodically the business deletes each range of program_id's and hence i drop such partitions and split the last partition to make room for new partitions. Now, i have an issue
