I purchased an iphone 5s, replacing my iphone 4. I purchased the new iphone at a Verizon store and they activated my new iphone there. Do I need to remove my old iphone from my itunes/ apple account and add the new phone ? I do not see the iphone 5s listed on the devices in my itunes yet.

Connect your new phone to your computer using the USB cable and it should appear in iTunes. If it doesn't you will need to troubleshoot. Then see: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109

I changed my AppleID a long time ago to an email that I no longer use and I have updates for apps that I can't update because my old email is filled in to where i sign in and it wont let me change it to my new one???
The problem with those two apps is that they are supposed to be in your Apple ID and you didn't set up the Mac properly/completely when you got it.
You might try deleteing them and using OS X Recovery to install them again.

Removal of old hard-wired oven when new one delivered?
I know that the delivery guys will take away our old (really, really old) oven when the new one is delivered. We suspect that the old one is actually hardwired. Am I correct that we have to disconnect it ourselves before they'll take it away? Or will they disconnect it?

Some of my apps are used on my old apple ID but then I lost my bank card visa had to get a new one then the transactions went thru that I made on my old apple ID and now it asks me to update my billing info cause I had got a new card and I tried doing that but it wouldn't accept my security code (the three numbers on the back of the card so I had to make a new account and that new account accepted the new card just fine so it wasn't the cards problem and now I can't update my apps used on the old APPLE ID because it wants me to pay off the transactions I made on that account but I can't pay it off cause it wont accept my new card.. So i don't know what to do. Can't just delete the apps cause one of em has a bunch of my music on it and te other that needs updating is too big of a file to redownload since I have no Internet now and the iPhone only lets you download 20mb or lower apps without wifi

How do I decline one computer to add a new one to use iTune Store?
I´m getting rid of my laptop. It was the 5th computer registered to download the purchased iTunes store music. Now I have to use a different computer to do so. Does anyone knows how to do erase the laptop from the list, and add this oter PC?
I have been having "iTunes Store is unavailable right now. Please try again later" for the past week. No updates to my apps, nothing is downloadable. I am wondering if anyone was able to figure out what is going on and how can we get this fixed?

Can Firefox merge my two Mozilla Firefox accounts?
Between 2010 and 2012 I created to separate Mozilla Firefox accounts. The first was under Teri Muckleroy with the Username savdXGodsgrace and email address (Email removed by mod) that has been changed as of 05/30/2012 to (Email removed by mod) and the second account that I created for my Firefox Personas that is under the name Teri Hinton with the Username CountryGirlsHeartAlways and email address (Email removed by mod) that as of 05/30/2012 has been changed to (Email removed by mod) so what I want to know is could Mozilla Firefox help me merge the two accounts into one. Ive changed my apple id. in my iPad and iPhone under iTunes it's showing the new id but under iCloud still shows old I'd. I have been told to delete account and add in new one but worried in case lose all my stuff that's already saved in iCloud. any idea?
If all you did was rename your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with your renamed ID. Deleting the account only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then choose Merge when you sign into the new account and turn your iCloud syncing back on to upload your data to the new account.
Before deleting the account, save you photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll). -

I'm relatively new to Mac and want to try and get the most out of the new MacBook Air.
My wife and I have been sharing the same Apple ID. We both have iPhones - she has a 5 and I've got a 4S.
We only have one copy of iTunes and we have been sharing the account. (She doesn't really use the computer for anything beyond writing the odd weekend assignment.)
Would I be better off setting her up with her own and making her as a separate user on the computer? Would this require much work?
In recent times with updates, we have a few problems with the duplication of texts and that sort of thing. Both of our texts are stored on the computer and that sort of thing. Also, sometimes texts I send her are sent through to me from her, if that makes any sense.
Anyway, I don't really want to overly complicate matters when it comes to accounts etc, but I wanted to know if a fresh Apple ID would be the best thing or even a new user?
Any tips etc would be greatly appreciated

I have this question too (0) ReplyYour question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

I have been given permission for unlocking my iphone 3 GS from Orange. I want to set up the phone for my wife to use with a new number and carrier. Do I unlock under my itunes account first ( I now have a new iphone on this account) or set one up for her and then unlock the phone. I am worried about upsetting the new phone.
I would complete unlocking as is and then
restore as new once you know the iPhone is unlocked

After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one, When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine. It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone?
