HT201269 my new iphone 5c does not give me the option to restore from icloud backup

I am trying to transfer the data from my old phone to my new one and my new 5c does not give me the option to restore from icloud backup
So now what do I do

Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings.
Once this is done, it will ask you to set your phone up again.  You can choose to restore from your iCloud backup.

    How many backups are in the cloud? When I installed ios6 it backed up to the cloud, since then I restored the phone trying to regain my contacts. At this point the used the last backup I performed on the computer 5 months ago. I never had the oppertunity to restore from the cloud.     Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your phone.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

    Wow.  That's weird.
    Is your iPad jailbroke?  If it is, all bets are off.  If it is not jailbroke, keep reading.
    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
    If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • My iphone 4 does not give me the option to send pictures.

    It does not have the icon in the text message screen. And when I push the arrow on the picture it only gives me the option to email photo, assign to contact, or use as wallpaper. I have no idea how this happened. It used to be on there. I didn't use my phone for about 9 months because the screen was broken. When I got the screen replaced and started using it again I noticed it. But i'm not sure if it was before or after. And how replacing the screen could make that happen.

    You have to.
    Maybe that option is not available in your country. It works in the USA

    Ipod is disabled and asks for a password to connect to itunes, but does not give me the option to input a password.

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

    The None option is not available in all locations.
    Reset your iPhone then try editing your payment credentials.
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    No data is lost as the result of a reset.

    Did you follow the instructions on that page exactly ? The instructions work for me e.g. selecting a free app in the App Store app and tapping on 'free', then 'install app' and 'create new apple id' - filling in my details then gave a 'none' option on the payment details :

    If you press Ctrl+n to open a new window, does it have all the menus and toolbars?
    If you restart Firefox, does the display return to normal?
    If those don't work, you could try Firefox's Safe Mode. This will let you temporarily disable add-ons to work around any problem there.
    You might want to back up Firefox before using Safe Mode. For help with that, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
    Next, try starting Firefox in Firefox
    [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.
    Does that restore your menus and toolbars?

    From the application being used to print, Click File > Print
    Click Properties or Preferences to access the Printing Preferences Dialog.
    Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the window.
    Under Printer Features, Click the Print as Grayscale selection box and set as High Quality Grayscale or Black Ink Only.

    Where are you looking to download them from ? You might be able to redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes. If that album shows there but doesn't have the cloud symbol against it for redownloading then that implies that it's still in your iTunes library

    Always remember to 'de-authorize' you computer when selling or sending for service. If sending for repairs you might not get the same mother board or HD back and some how this counts as an authorized computer against your count.
