I am trying to set-up new iphone 5s - when it says restore from iCloud back-up I say yes - it then asks for my iCloud password but the iCloud login it is showing is a very old one of my sisters - I don't understand.....my old iPhone 4S which is also in front of me is set to back up to my iCloud with my login & my password - how do I get the new 5s to let me select my iCloud login......
settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone as new, and then you will have the option to restore from your backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766

Setup your new phone, then update to iOS 8.1.3. Once done: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings". At the setup screen you'll now be able to select your old phone's backup.

You got a new iPhone 4, and out of the box the phone is in recovery mode? If that's the case, return it.

Hello. I created my apple id on a computer but whenever i try to use it on my (new) iphone, it says "review" after which nothing happens. I have not been able to purchase anything from the App store. Is there something i'm doing wrongly?

I recently changed my email address and need to change my icloud account on both my itunes and iphone. How do I do this without completely wiping the phone.
Also I tried to update to iOS6 and it is asking for my password under my old signin and locked me out of my phone.

ThanksThis explains how to change your ID: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621. After changing your ID you will need to go to Settings>iCloud, delete the existing account (which only deletes it from your device, not from iCloud), then sign back in with the new ID. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll before deleting the existing account.
If you are signed into your account on your Mac, you will need to go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID. -
How on earth do I update my Apple ID to my new email address? I keep getting moved to 'change my password' sites, but I have a new email address and need to update my Apple. Frustrated!!
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server).
Then sign back in with your new ID. Your iCloud data will disappear from your devices when you sign out, but reappear when you sign back in.
I re-iterate: before you start, turn off 'Find My Mac' (or whatever) or you will need the services of Support. -

Check the outgoing mail server settings in your account on the Treo and see if it is set for your yahoo account.
Make sure it is not set for the Hotmail account.

I used different email addresses when I signed up for my iPod and my iPhone. I would like to use only ONE email address for both devices. When I try to edit, it tells me there is already a user with that address (hint: I know that!). Does anyone know how to sync two email accounts into one? Thanks,
When I go into my account settings and try to change my old hotmail address to my current Yahoo! address, it tells me "That email address is already used as an Apple ID." Yeah, I know that. I set up the account that I'd really, really, like to have together, but it won't let me go further. End of activity! It is trusting that my email account and password are correct b/c it will let me make purchases, etc., so it's not like it is preventing fraud or anything. Summary: iPod = Yahoo!, iPhone = hotmail, would like to have both reflect my Yahoo! address.

I have just bought an iphone and am trying to set up the two accounts to receive emails on my phone.
I have downloaded icloud for the pc and have successfully uploaded all information to my icloud, and this is now reflected on the phone showing all my contacts etc, but when i click on 'mail' on my iphone its empty... I have two email addresses in which i need to receive on my phone at all times, any ideas as to why this isnt working?Just to add, i have also set up the two email addresses and verified them within my icloud account, but still no sync to my iphone or showing on the icloud account...
