HT201269 new iphone doesn't have old audiobooks
I got a new iphone. None of my audio books transferred but the audio books are still on my itunes on my computer. I restored everything from icloud. how do I get my audio books on my new iphone
All media on the old device should be in iTunes on the computer.
Connect the new device to the computer.
Select the content desired to sync, sync.
iOS backups have never included media.

Bad idea.
Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content. -
I have a new IPhone 5c, and an old iTunes acct. I changed my password because I forgot it. I guess I tried it too many times and now my apple iTunes is disabled. How do I fix that?
You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

I have synced my new iPhone 4S with my old iphone 3S and i can't invite any contacts with my calendar?
is there something I have not done properly to do this or do I need to update calendar software or is this an App thing?
Please help!Go to iTunes Settings, on the Devices tab you will see a list of all available backups. If you don't see the one you're looking for there it doesn't exist to restore your phone to it. Also, if you want to prevent iTunes from syncing automatically you can check "Prevent...from syncing automatically" on the Devices preferences screen.
If you do see the backup you are trying to restore to listed here, you should be able to right-click on the name of your phone and select it to restore from. When you right-click on your phone you should see these choices, where "iPhone" is the name of your phone: -
I want to transfer data from my old Mac book pro to my new one using migrate. The old computer doesn't have Thunderbolt 2 and the new one doesn't have Firewire 800. Does the Thunderbolt to Firewire or the Firewire to Thunderbolt adapter work to connect them and transfer data?

Just bought a new iphone 5, i have an old imac computer OSX 10.5.8 and itune version 10 (updated at great cost last year for iphone4) it dosen't let me restore data... any chance of update or do i have to thow away my computer (and never by Mac again?)
You an use your iPhone without connecting it to a computer.
But the product description for the iPhone clearly states that in order to sync with a Mac you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later. That version of the OSX is usually called Snow Leopard. There are two mo recent versions of OSX. OSX 10.7.x (Lion) and OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion).
If you can upgrade your computer to at least Snow Leopard I suggest you do so. -
I have just bought a new iPhone and gave my old one to my Mum. My problem is that even with a new SIM and phone number I seem to be getting her messages as well as mine on my thread. They are also being recorded as both sent and received so she must be paying twice for each SMS sent. Help please
Wipe iPhone/iPad/iPod touch clean
There are a few steps to do:
Switch off iMessage in Settings > Messages
Switch off FaceTime in Settings > FaceTime (iPod touch 4th Generation or later, iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later)
Delete iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Finally Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

I found an old Photoshop Elements 4.0 in my house, but my new PC doesn't have a disc slot
Hello, I found a Photoshop Elements 4.0 disc that is still in good condition, but my new computer doesn't have a disc slot. Can I still download it? How? Also, will there be compatibility issues because it is so old? I have a Dell PC with Windows 8. Thanks for the help!
Get the contents of the disc copied to a cheap thumb drive, then plug it into the new computer and copy the files to the desktop and run the installation from there.

I purchased the new iPhone 4S tonight. Previously used the 3G. Synced the 3G, plugged in the new 4S and got message could new iPhone did not have 10.5 and to go to iTunes and download. Did that on both new 4S and made sure iTunes on Mac had 10.5. Tried again. Got same message. Cannot sync new 4S to iTunes and restore to move my photos and contacts to new 4S. What can I do?

If the phone is locked to a carrier then you will need the carrier to unlock it And only the carrier can do that.

I got a similar message, but mine finished restoring pretty soon and then I was able to download and install 7.0.2
Try rebooting your phone to see if that helps. -

I have just received a new iPhone 4s and have restored it from the last back up I did before I got the new phone, however, after I do the restore the only option I get is to click on "Done" at the top of the page but then no data or information from my phone shows up and when I click on the "iPhone" button on the top right hand side of the page it takes me back to the previous page and gives me the option to set up a new phone or restore again. I have just restored my husbands iPhone 5 and had no issues at all. They were both backed up on the same day last week.
That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

Where is the ColdFusion support?
I have been trying to edit existing ColdFusion files now that I am signed up to Creative Cloud. Dreamweaver CC has had all ColdFusion support removed. Even opening a ColdFusion file is annoying. I can only open it by right clicking in Finder. Checkin
