HT201269 Problems with new iphone

Hi, I've recently upgraded to an iphone 5s. It has the latest software and I have just installed the latest itunes. However, when i try to sync the new phone it says "This iphone cannot be used becasue the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes then install itunes again". Can anyone explain this as I have the latest software on both!

Follow those instructions completely, as doing it a different way could prove to create more problems. After that, try the sync process again.

    Basic troubleshooting from the manual is:
    Restart
    Reset
    Restore

    You can make an appointment with the Genius Bar if you have tried these and they have not worked. If they determine your iphone to be defective, they will replace.

    Hi so i recently got the new iPhone 5s. I have been experincing problems since two weeks after purchase. People have problem hearing me during phone cals not network also on facetime i have tried holding the phone in numerous postion with tierdless effort but no result also the phone itslef get burning hot whilst playing the simplest of games like candy crush and no its not because i play it for hours on ends it gets a such a temprature after 3 minutes of use. I recently attempted to purchase infintey blade 3 it couldent complete the download because i have used up the capacity and then a notficaton pops up on my lock  screen saying 'you have used up all your storage' it has been only a month and couple of weeks how can this happen with only 72 apps 132 songs and i have used up the suposed capacity 12.9gb what should do?

    Search these forums for hints on how to maximize your battery life. after trying the many suggestions on these forums you still feel your battery is draining too fast Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

    My husband and I have new iPhone 4s. He can only receive text messages to an old email address (not his new email address or current phone number) I tried to add his new email address but in Settings, Messages he does not have the field titled "Receive At" like I do on my phone. In fact he also does not have "Send Read Receipts" or Send As SMS" Can any one help !! Thanks!!

    Turn iMessage on on his iPhone.
    Settings -> Messages -> iMessage -> Switch to on

  • Problems with New iPhone connecting to wireless at home

    Hi everyone,
                        just got back from the Apple store in Bristol ( UK ) where I had my 'old' iPhone exchanged for a New one because of some problems.
    Anyway I get home and I am 'trying' to get my iPhone on to my home wireless ( which is protected so have to 'add' the phone to the accept list ), the problem is when I try to add the iPhone I keep getting a 'error' message telling me that the "MAC" address ( from the phone ) is not a MAC address.
    I know where to look - 'About' - 'Wi-Fi Address  and there is the Mac address ( 14:8F:C6:D9:9B:6D ) , so does anyone know what I am missing or doing wrong !!
    I had no problem adding my 'Old' iPhone or anything else, iPads ( one a friends for when they visit ), iTouch, Macbook ect  ;-(

  • Problems with new iPhone

    Hi, I hope someone can help.
    SO I finally bought an iphone on pay as you go. Set it up including syncing eMail and Calendar from Google through the Microsoft Exchange settings following googles intructions.
    I then switch the phone off, using the red slider. When I switch it on in the morning it takes ages at teh apple logo and then tells me I need to plug it into iTunes. The phone has been activated.
    I got home plugged it in and it all started working fine. Then when I powered off again over night the same thing happened but this time when connecting to itunes I am told itunes cannot connect to any content on the iphone and a factory restore is required.
    Selecting to continue with this, it down loads the latest software and then starts preparing the iphone for restore before erroring saying iphone could not be restored unknown error (1602)
    Please help I have only had the phone 48 hours and am not happy!

    About the freezing, When i first bought my iphone when they came out I got a phone that after going to sleep or idle it would just freeze and i would have to hard boot the phone to come back up. I took it back to the store and they gave me a brand new phone. It was within the first 2 weeks that i purchased it. If your after your 2 weeks i think they will make you send it back to them so that they could look at it and repair it.

    Is your 5C already setup? If so, you'll have to erase it before you can restore the backup of your iPhone 4 to it: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.

    I tried to update my iphone, it seemed to work but to let my iphone completely empty: no more phone numbers, pictures, etc.. in it. I thought I could pick the info on my itunes in computer but apparently the update broke the itunes program as well: it says that some elemets are missing... does someone have an idea???     Contacts and calendar events aren't backed up? That's a complete load of hokey. They are backed up, and I ran into a similar problem and recovered them FROM the backup. Here's my post:

    The warranty is NOT international. You must take it back to the country of origin if it needs repair. The E.U. is considered a single country for warranty purposes.

    if itunes can no longer pickup your ipod, and you cant even do anything to your ipod, your best option is to either call apple care, or just take it to the nearest apple shop. i had a similar problem, mines currently at apple care repairs and they might just end up giving me a replacement.

    At first I thought it might be because I was using simultaneously my old iPhone 4S so it somehow realized the emails where being pushed to another device and the it marked as read, this has nothing to do since I have deleted the email account from the iPhone 4S
