HT201269 unable to complete purchase in app purchase on new device

I just upgraded from an iPhone 5 to a 5s.  I am trying to make an in app purchase and I keep getting an error that "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed, For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/."
I've connected to a computer, signed in to my itunes account, reverified my billing information and still I keep getting this error.  Any help?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
    I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.

    Could be any number of things. What user trobleshooting have you tried? Restart (power off/on) reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. See if it works after the phone restarts. Next is a restore from a backup (make sure you made a current one), then restore as a new device, which deletes all data from your device. If it doesn't work after all that, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the local Apple store, it is probably a hardware issue.
    I have seen something similar which is generally diagnosed as a hardware issue.

    Bought an in-app game, but after purchase, the app keeping popping error "Unable to complete your purchase". The CSO at apple sent me a solution to disable Parental Control, without even asking if it was enabled. He is not helping me. Can anybody help please?

    Try calling their customer service line. I had that same issues all morning. I gave up and picked up the phone. I was able to place my order with no problem over the phone.

  • IPhoto Book - unable to complete purchase

    I successfully completed the compilation and purchase of a nice iPhoto book for a relative's wedding last week. Now I've finished making a second one and for some reason I'm unable to complete the purchase. It uploads all the pictures and compiles the book, then keeps taking me to a pop-up which says "your account information has changed". I have verified my account information four times and it then keeps circling back to "Buy Book" and starting the process from scratch all over again but won't give me the ability to complete the transaction.
    Beyond frustrated!!

    do not jsut verify your informtation - go to your Apple store account and re-enter all of it and save it ad then ry again

  • HT204053 When I try to make a purchase at the Itunes store I will frequently get an error msg,that says unable to complete purchase, contact store support. why does this happen?

    From my Iphone 4S, I have trouble making purchases and will frequently get an error message that says, "Unaable to complete purchase at this time.  Contact Itunes Store Support to complete this purchase."  The strange thing is that it will sometimes go through without any problem but 1 out of 3 times this happens.  Any sugguestions?  My phone's completely updated.

  • Unable to access Facebook through app on all iOS devices

    I just encountered a rather strange problem - I'm suddenly unable to access Facebook via the app on any iOS device that's logged into my home wifi network.  However, I'm able to access www.facebook.com via Safari or Google Chrome on the same devices, and if I log into a different wifi network the app works fine.  I'm also able to access Facebook through my desktop PC when it's connected to my home wifi network.  I have two iPads - one with iOS6 and the other with iOS7.  It doesn't seem to be a problem with my router since I can access Facebook normally through my home PC.  When I try to access using the app on the iPads, I just get the spinning indicator in the upper left and nothing ever loads.  I've tried resetting the network, re-booting the router, power cycling the ipad, turning wifi on and back off, etc. and nothing has worked.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    I am on Sprint 4G, running through a Cradlepoint router.  My desktop PC is hard wired to the router and as I mentioned in my post I'm able to get on Facebook from the PC, and also from any laptops that are connected to the router via wifi.  I'm also able to log into Facebook on the iPads through Safari or Google Chrome, just not with the app.

    Whether I'm trying to gift and iPad app from my iPad or from iTunes for Mac, the purchase hangs and seemingly never completes.  Is anyone else having this problem?  I'm assuming the iTunes Stores servers are getting slammed today because of all the Xmas purchase.  Calling Apple support is also no good at this time.

    I had similar problem. But after 2 minutes it worked. I stayed on the same screen. However, the receipent seems to be having trouble reedimig it on the iPad.
