Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

I got my iPhone unlocked legitimately from AT&T after paying all the dues. After an year of use, it seems to have got locked again since it is not longer latching onto the network. I am not sure how it happened but I am guessing it may have happened due to some factory reset operation. I did backup and restore but it is not helping. What can I do now to get it unlocked and working again?Contact AT&T.

I bought an iPhone 4, two years ago, and it was locked by vodafone spain. As i needed to use a portuguese sim card, I unlocked it sucessfully. But now I was going to sell it and I restored it, and it got locked again... how can I reverse this?

How did you unlock it? Had you requested an unlock from the carrier Vodafone and they complied, the phone would not be locked again. Sounds as if you hacked it to unlock, and now that you restored it, it has relocked to Vodafone. If it is locked to them, you have to find out if they offer unlocking services. If they do, see if you qualify. If you do not, there is no way to unlock the phone. -
Why is my iphone screen turning black with the apple symbol?
My iPhone 3GS has been randomly blacking out to the screen with the apple symbol or just a blank white screen and will remain frozen like that. I have reset it pressing the home and power button but most times the screen returns to the apple symbol and the phone does not load. A few times the screen has just been showing random html code when I reset it. Sometimes it gets back to my log-in screen but then kicks me back out.
Is your phone by chance jailbroken? If not then you may have to make a genius appointment and have them check it out. Also try restoring the phone as a new phone and see if that fixes the problem.

Why did my iphone 4 just go to the apple logo then go straight back to the home screen?
I was just listening to music on my iPhone when all of a suden my music cut off. I looked right at my phone to see that it went to the apple logo then a few seconds later it went right back to my home screen. The only thing I had open on my phone was my music and a text message I left open for a moment. Is there a reason why my phone shut off? Is somethign wrong? Or am I jsut worrying for nothing?
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected. -

I have a D3000 and PSE9 and at one time my NEF files would open with the raw dialog box. Now they only open in the normal editor. How do I get my raw dialog back?
What is the screen resolution you have set?
On most windows systems you can right click on the desktop and choose Screen Resolution or Properties>Settings to find out the the screen resolution. -
i factory unlock my iphone 3gs and was on ios 6.1.2 and updatednit to 6.1.3 with itunes and the phone got lock again at activation screen. i try downgrading to 4.1 with baseband 5.13.04 and want to upgrade back to 6.1.2. pls help me
Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.

Same phone, same tv, same broadband network so everything the same so I assumed that it would.....just work!!! :-)
I'm away this weekend but I'm going to turn off and reload the Apple TV to see if that might work.

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach. For business area assignment to Sales Area there the Steps u need to follow.
1.Define Business Area
2.Then maintain Consolidated business Area
3.Now in Assignment in Define rule by Salee Area u have to select Rule 002 which indicate
Rule 002 Business area determination from sales area Table use (TVTA)
Then u will find the data in Assign business Area by sales Area Screen & u can fill the business area there .

So the reason why am sending this mail is to ask for the procedure of how to unlock an iPhone from another country the amount paid and all the other information about unlocking an iPhone.

The phone is damaged. Take it in to an Apple Store or authorized service provider. More than likely you will have to pay for an out of warranty replacement.

Why did my iphone add a +1 to all my contacts after shutting it off? Now my contacts have disappeared because it does not recognize any of the numbers due to the +1.
Did you change your region settings?
If so, change it back to the country you're in.
The reverse has happened to me from Austria to America, now my phone has old messages from austrian numbers but it doesn't show their names anymore because the implied +43 country code is gone.
