HT201269 why doesn't my iTunes account show all my purchases? I can only see them on myiPad.
I purchased music on my iPad but it is not showing up in my iTunes account on my PC and has not synched to my iPhone. Any idea on how to make it work again?
Go into the iTunes store on your computer, and click Purchased, then make sure when your music comes up, filter it by "Not in my Library"

Hi,
I uploaded and synchronized new files with the server. The files are showing in my server view - every single one.
However, somehow, I can't see them at the site URL address.
The only thing that is showing there, are the older files for this site, and only one page.
Does anyone know what went wrong? ... and how to fix it?

It will put the files where you tell it to -- where you've defined based on local/remote site definitions.
It's not technically possible to have two files with the same name in the same folder. Check that the case are identical - Unix systems are case sensitive. -
Why doesn't my itunes library show all my music?
It only shows recent purchases and nowhere near what I've got on my ipod. This means there's hardly any music I can sync to my iphone.

I have the newest version of the iPad and can not see it under devices in my iTunes account on my PC. I can however see my iPod touch under devices and sync it. How can I get my iPad to show under devices and sync as well? I have also tried may suggestions on the apple support site and none have worked. Any suggestions are welcome.
You need iTunes version 11+.

Do you mean iTunes library?
iTunes account is what you use to make iTunes purcahses.
iTunes library is what is on your computer.

No, it tells you it can only be sync'd with one iTunes library.
Simplest way is to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder (thisis the iTunes library) from old computer to new computer. -
Not showing past episodes of podcasts. i.e. Comedu Bang Bang shows 301 episodes but I can only see ten. WHY?
When I search the store for 'Comedy Bang Bang', on the results screen I get :
To the far right of the Podcast Episodes heading is a 'see all' button/link. Or clicking on the podcast name above it takes me to that podcast's episodes.
On the list for that particular podcast I see whitespace if I scroll down the screen too quickly, but scrolling back gets them to (slowly) appear. -

Why doesn't my GameCenter account show my real name?
When I go check my GC account, the profile page just shows my GC ID while my friends' accounts show their real name and their GC ID. Also, when I try to put "Invalid characters" in my ID, GC denies my change and forces me to cancel. For example "#00FF66" in considered to be invalid because of the "#" symbol. Others can use these characters, however, to add colors to their GC ID's. Does my account have a restriction or limitation?

I have been having several annoying problems with iTunes for the past several months...
1) Library content not showing after folder relocation:
First, in order to free up space on my C drive, I wanted to relocate my iTunes folder to a new 1TB hard drive (F) I installed. I did so according to Apple's instructions online, but despite setting the new location to be my library in my iTunes preferences, the content never shows up in the iTunes Library in the actual application. This is my most annoying problem, so please someone help me to resolve this! Thanks.
2) Albums purchased on iPhone 5 only sometimes sync with PC
I have purchased a few albums on my iPhone 5 and only some of them have synced to my PC when I connect my iPhone via USB. They don't even appear under the "Purchases" playlist in the iTunes Store. So, I have content right now on my iPhone that I can only access via my iPhone, and some of the music has gone missing. One or two tracks from albums are not there despite me purchasing full albums at a time... This is also pretty dang annoying and prevents me from trying a solution I'd looked up to fix my third problem...
3) Album artwork mixed up/mismatched on iPhone 5
This is pretty self-explanatory. Ony day my album artwork decided to play musical chairs. So now, for example, it shows Andrew W.K.'s bloody face when I listen to Zedd, and shows Skrillex when I listen to Symphony X. I read online that if you desync your content on you iPhone so that none of the music is there any longer, and then resync content from your computer, it will fix this issue. I'm hesitant to apply this solution until I can fix the ones above though, because I don't want to lose content that I have legally paid for.
My final problem:

Thanks all!1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. Hopefully, someone out there can help me?? Please?

I purchased a tv series and downloaded it (several hours) but i can only play it while connected to the internet, I assume it is somewhere in the cloud. What ever happened to buy it download it and it stays on the hard drive? The other day 8 tv series and 7 movies that i had previously purchaed had disappeared from itunes.

My iPod Nano is connected to the PC since I can see the Eject icon in the Top RHS of the window.

The is extremely fraustrating as I just want to dump a few podcasts to the nano and get on with life ...
Where is the Devices list mentioned in the Help - all I see is music I've uploaded and tabs for the Store and Podcasts etc.
Thgis is my second evening I've tried to get this going - I've re-installed iTunes, reset the nano (7th Generation), taken out all other USB peripherals apart from keyboard and mouse, restarted the PC.

If you have a menu bar with buttons for file, edit, view, controls, etc., click on view and choose "show sidebar". I was looking for the same thing until a couple of days ago when, working with an Apple tech on an unrelated song issue, he told me how to display that sidebar with the devices display. I had to click on the little symbol, upper left corner, choose "show menu bar", which wasn't displayed up to then, and then what I just told you. Hope that is what you're after. -
Why doesn't my iTunes account balance show?
I'm using iTunes 10.4 with Lion.
I'm sure the balance would be on the home page near the apple-id - but its not there.
I am logged-in. I have logged-out and logged-in.
Also (perhaps releated) - when I go to my account and click See All on my purchase history - it says 'temporarily unable to proceed. try later' - but that's been going on for several days.
and why isn't it obvious how to report this to apple rather than bothering you good people?

I am having trouble with my Itunes account on Windows XP . I can not see any list in my music files. The songs are there but I have to click on each song to see what it is. Also, in the itunes store, I can not see any pull down list or use my search bar. This happened when Itunes updated it's look. I can pull it up on my phone and see all of my purchased music. I would really appreciate knowing how to fix this problem. Thank you.
Traci LemleyNevermind - I answered my own question, which is I CAN"T READ ANY BOOKS I purchased in iBooks on my MacBook Pro. If I want to read on my mac I have to use Kindle or Nook. Which means any book I've already purchased through iBooks has to be read on my iPad. Kind of a drag because there are times when it's more convenient for me to read while I'm sitting with my Mac.
