HT201270 If I purchase an iPad with 4G in the US, can I transfer my carrier to one in Canada?
I want to purchase my iPad in the US, and I want to get 4G. Do I have to use the US carriers or can I use a Canadan carrier? I spend 6 months in the US and 6 months in Canada. Thanks for any help.

Unlike iPhones iPads are not carrier locked
( except in some rare situations where the iPad is sold as a carrier package as in UK )

My husband got a new ipad and set up his own apple id without looking into the implications of that. Now I want to sync this ipad with our itunes so we can access it on here, but our itunes has a different apple id. Any way to do this?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

You will have to contact the previous owner and ask him/her to remove the iPad from their account, he/she is the only person that can do it : Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account - you won't be able to use the iPad until they do so.

When I go to sync my ipad with my iphone, the calendar looses appointments?
Syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with an iCloud account has nothing to do with syncing with iTunes.
On your iPhone go to Settings > iCloud.
If Contacts is turned on for over the air syncing, turn it off. A warning message and prompt will be provided asking about what to do with the previously synced contacts with iCloud. Select Delete from iPhone. After all contacts are deleted from your iPhone, turn Contacts back on for over the air syncing. After all contacts are downloaded, confirm the contacts on your iPhone match your online contacts with iCloud.
If so, repeat this with your iPad.
