HT201272 After my upgrade to ios6 I lost all my purchased books. I have tried to retrieve without luck. I have followed ever tip including the one above. I do not have a purchased books line. I need help. I should have never upgraded.
I cannot locate my purchased books after upgrade. I have tried every forum response with no luck. I go to itunes and the want me to pay for the books again.
Any help would be appreciated.
The ibooks were bought via the same account as you are currently logged in with and they were bought whilst you were in the same country ? And they don't show on either the Purchased tab in the iBooks app nor the Purchased link on your computer's iTunes, and they aren't in the Books part of your library ? You could also check to see if they are hidden : hiding and unhiding .

Probably the best place to start is the right forum for your product. This is the forum for Distiller Server, a long dead product used by big companies, and probably not what you have. After upgrading my iPhone, I lost all my contacts and they were replaced with my wife's contacts even though she upgraded after I did. I did a time machine backup before I started the upgrade process, how do I get that saved data back to my phone?

Following upgrading to iOS7 I lost all sound for my 4s except for the ring when someone calls. I can't listen to music, I don't get text or email notifications. I have tried a wipe and reinstall, I've tried hard rebooting, I tried erasing all of my music and reinstalling it, I checked my Do Not Disturb, and I tried the AssistiveTouch mute button. Nothing. I can't even play music through bluetooth or headphones. Can anyone help please as its driving me mad!
I experience this problem too. I am using iPhone4 and just upgrade it to iOS7. And now I can not make outgoing call. I checked all the setting, and nothing wrong. I even replaced my sim card with the new one, still can not help.

I also experienced loss of important archived voicemails on my Iphone on two occasions within the last 12 mos:
1. after upgrading my Iphone 4S to an Iphone 5 using Itunes backup and then erasing my Iphone 4s. I lost all my voicemails older than 90 days (ATT is my carrier). I was able to recover the old voicemails by restoring my Iphone 4s from my Itunes backup and holding onto that device for reference.
2. again, six mos later after restoring a new Iphone 5 using a recent ITunes backup after water damage to my first Iphone 5. Nobody in my local Apple store or on Apple phone support, including a "senior techniciaan" had any useful knowledge to assist me with this frustrating issue. Ultimately, I spent many hours researching this myself. Apparently, there is a bug in the Iphone 5 OS when restoring from ITunes. I don't know if this problem also occurs after restoring from an ICloud backup. However, I found that Iphone voicemails are available for a limited period 30-90 days through your phone carrier ie. ATT, Verizon, etc but more importantly, ALL voicemails are archived on an ITUNES backup regardless of age assuming you didn't delete them off your IPhone before last backing up your device. So, if you lost or damaged your IPhone but have an ITunes backup, all you need is an ITunes extractor, unfortunately not available through APPLE. Apple reps are not authorized to discuss non-apple issued software even if they're aware. There are several ITunes extractors available for music, photos, SMS files etc but most don't also have the capability of opening the embedded voicemails. Happily, using this software, I successfully extracted from my ITunes backup file ALL my voicemails old and current, using www.backuptrans.com/itunes-backup-extractor.html (Mac and Windows versions available). A life-saver! -
Upgrading to V4 has lost all of my Bookmarks, I still have the restore files in my profile data but they will not load, I have tried importing the html backup file too but it didn't work either. How can I get them back?

Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :( -
my Creative Cloud subscription has expired, and I assigned the monthly payment, but I can not open any progam creative cloud, I need help how to solve this problem

since upgrading my phone to 6.0.1, I'm using way too much data. I believe it's the podcast app that's not loading shows while I'm connected to wifi. I have the 3g turned off for podcasts??? also after a phone call or an alert it starts playing a podcast?
I've also had the same issues, after upgrading to IOS 6.0, the apps in my iPhone 4 were crashing and the battery life run out very fast.
The only solution worked for me was to remove all mail accounts (Exchange/Gmail) from my iPhone (in settings) and then add them back.
The crashing were stopped! also the battery was back to normal.
I found the solution by first looking at the crash logs (in IOS 6). you can find them at Settings -> General -> About (at the bottom of the About menu you will find the option that opens the logs).
There i saw many logs about Low Memory crash. 99% of the logs were pointed that the largest process (use the most memory) during the crashes is "dataaccessd".
I search in the web and found that this process is a deamon process that reponsible the Mail accounts (like Exchange/Gmail) and contancts list.
I've installed the app "System Status - activity monitor" which shows important system info like CPU usage, Memory usage and running processes.
Before apply my solution (deleting the mail accounts) i saw that the CPU usage was very high which consume the battery very fast. Also i saw that the memory (RAM) was run out.. which probably what cause the crashing..
After deleting the mail accounts (at Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars) i check again with the System Status app, and saw that the memory and CPU were back to normal.
Adding the mail accounts back, still everything work ok

Hi I had the same problem and spent some time trying to get through to support, when I did they couldn't answer my querey but since then....
Every time a message is sent the indicator stops 90% along its journey and goes no farther?
The answer is simple, Apple don't seem to know it yet....
In Settings goto messages and right at the bottom click the 'Show Subject Field' to OFF.
The new upgrade has made a dogs dinner of this, you can leave it on, but DO NOT USE IT it prevents the messages from going and its far easier to turn the dammed thing off, it makes no difference to the content of the message.
Apple had me turning on 'Mobile Data' which was never needed in the past. and it is not necessary we will no doubt get an update 7.04 soon where it will either be fixed or discarded..

Have you performed a reset? Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons and await restart.
