HT201272 All songs purchased didn't download. What now??

I downloaded an album from Itunes.  When listening to it on my computer & IPOD, some of the songs don't play, and some songs stop half way through.  Of the 11 songs, i only have 3 that work. How do I fix this? I can't re-download form itunes currently.

...but my songs went missing randomly AFTER this and I dont know how to get them back. HELP?!

    Hello there, Ryanor87.
The following Knowledge Base article goes over how to redownload content that has been purchased from the iTunes Store:

They aren't there because you didn't transfer them.
Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability by country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple recommends,  "You always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store," (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).
    Additional tip at https://discussions.apple.com/message/24176756
In future do not rely upon being able to download again.  The policy could be discontinued without notice and then you'd be in a mess.  Even now you still can't redownload everything.  Transfer properly next time and make backups.

  • My full iTunes purchase did not download; what are my options?

my full iTunes purchase did not download; what are my options?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading selectDownloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloadsisunticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

    Back from where?
You choose to not copy them off to a computer as they are designed to be.
If they are no longer showing in iCloud, they are gone.

  • I downloaded a song yesterday and when i go to play it i only get the first four or five seconds, then it quits. When I check for available downloads, Apple says all songs have been downloaded to this computer. This last purchase didn't download.

I downloaded a song yesterday, April 6th. It didn't download successfully, but Apple or i-tunes said it has been downloadd to my computer. Well it hasn't. I only get the first 4 or 5 seconds when i try to play it.  i don't want to pay for it again.  What should I do?

    Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the menu bar click iTunes > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click Reset warnings and Reset cache
    Click OK.
    Restart your computer, launch iTunes.
Click Store > Check for Available Downloads...

  • One song from an album didn't download. what do i do?

i recently purchased a few albums at the same time.  i downloaded them and put them on my ipod.  But later on i realized all the songs didn't download entirely and some songs didn't download at all.  when i figured out how to report the problem on itunes.  it told me that the item purchased was too old to report a problem on.  it had been less than a week. so how long is too long?  And once i bought the song shouldn't i be able to download it again. i probably downloaded 60 or 70 songs that day. it took me a while to see that it wasn't correct.  does anyone know how to download these songs again without re-purchasing them?

Any song previously purchased in iTunes Store (including any that were "free" for a limited time), can now be re-downloaded at any time, as many times as you want.  I have re-downloaded songs purchased YEARS ago, from the opening days of the iTunes Store, way before this re-download policy even existed.
You don't have to report any problem.  Go to the main iTunes Store screen in iTunes.  You have to be logged into your Apple ID (the iTunes account used to purchase the songs).  On the right side of the screen, under Quick Links, find Purchased and click it.  This takes you to the Purchased screen.  Select the Music category and find the songs that are missing.  You can filter by Not on This Computer, which may be a good way to do it in this case, since there are apparently songs that you have purchased that are not on your computer currently.
Once you have song on the screen, click the cloud button (with arrow) to download the song.

  • HT1725 I just purchased an album, but several songs failed to completely download. Now what ???

I just purchased and downloaded an album, yet several songs only partially downloaded. Now what ?  How do I retrieve the album in it's entirety ?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

  • Sometimes I find songs I didn't download on my ipod, or songs that I did download are replaced with different music

OK, so I've noticed sometimes when I sync my iPod with iTunes, that sometimes I'll have my iPod on shuffle and I'll end up with either:
    A) Songs that I KNOW I didn't download, for example today there was a song titled "Marvins Room" a la the song by Drake, but what was playing wasn't even remotely close to Marvin's Room, and it had some cheap looking album art on it, that I KNOW I did not download.
    OR
    B) Songs that I DID purchase and/or download and I KNOW were the correct songs when I purchased them, have been replaced with some music I've never heard of before, for example I had "New Moon" by Brandy and one day it played something else entirely, but still had all the original song info. This has happened on more than one occasion and with different songs, and I've had to go delete the song and re-purchase and/or DL it.
Also, sometimes some of the music on iTunes isn't correct. Like recently, the availabe version of Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" is less than 2 minutes long, so you don't even get the whole song although you pay for a whole song. Or, some music is completely incorrect (see B above).
Anybody else run into these issues, and/or have any clue why this happens and how best to prevent it? Please and thanks in advance.

  • TS4357 i just bought an album off of itunes and it says processing 100% in the downloading box but a few of the songs still are not downloaded what do i do?

I bought a lot of songs off of itunes today and it is not downloading to my library what do i do?
I bought an album and quite a few other songs. In the download box it says that on the abum i bought that its processing 100% but a few of the songs have not downloaded.. I have tried pausing and restarting the download but it wont let me touch it
I need help i dont know what to do

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • How do i sync ALL songs purchased on a new iPhone ?

    Hi,
I lost my old iPhone and now have a new one where I would like to download all previously purchased songs.
    This is what I do:
    1. iTunes -> More --> Purchased -> Music
I now get a list of all songs I have purchased (852 songs). The issue is that when clicking "All", I just get the
spinner up in the top bar of the phone (the on in the main window is still), and after a while I guess it just
    gives up.
Now it works to download a single song, or album. Is it just that iCloud can't cope with what I wouldn't call
an very high amount of songs (852) for downloading, or what's going on here ? Some times it just stops,
and sometimes iTuns just flat out crashes. I'm on a WiFi network so that shouldn't be the issue.
I can't install iTunes on my laptop so any suggestions on what to do here ?
Do I just have to bow my head like an village idiot and download all songs individually ? This would suck
*** since the list of songs for some reason doesn't indicate what I have downloaded already. I guess keeping
track wouldn't be rocket science though ... just seems a little... dumb .. since there clearly is some sort
of suppport for downloading all songs.
    Cheers,
    Niklas

You really should rely on itunes to do the work (haven't you been using it to store purchased items?).  why can't you install itunes?

  • Windows crashed, songs purchased but not downloaded......

  • Bought the album, but all the tracks didn't download

    Okay,
Bought the new Diana Krall Xmas album. 13 tracks and a PDF file. Only 6 tracks and the PDF file actually downloaded.
Now what do I do? Even my messages to customer support don't go through (some red error text shows up on the page).
Oh and I'm the guy that has no problem buying the new Madonna album and the 2 new Korn EPs, but the store won't let me buy the new Enya album. It's not a financial matter, my account is tied to my American Express.

    Okay, nevermind.
half of the songs list the artist as Diana Krall and the other half list the artist as Diana Krall and the Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.
    Stupid.
God forbid you buy a hip-hop album on iTunes (they have different artists on every track). How do you find all that music once you've bought it!?!
